Shopping & Nightlife:
Male Fish Market
It is one of the most famous markets in
Male. You can get every kind of seafood
here and a large variety of fishes.
Different fish dishes can also be tried here
or one can buy only the vacuum packs.
This market is not much good when it
comes to hygiene, but then what else can
be expected as it's a fish market after all.
Majeedhee Magu
Majeedhee Magu is a vibrant market that
provides apparels imported from South
East Asia. You can get everything from
accessories to electronics, textiles and
clothing items here.
Mal Local Market
Mal Local Market provides you with a big
collection of everyday items. Many
souvenir shops are also located here. You
can take back home the miniatures of
boats, mats, slippers made of palm and
coconut leaves and lot more. One must not
forget to try the fresh coconut milk
here.
Places to visit:
Grand Friday Mosque
It is located inside the Islamic Centre and
is the largest mosque not only in Maldives
but in the entire South Asia. The Grand
Friday Mosque with its dominating golden
dome has become a symbol for the city of
Mal.
Hukuru Miskiiy
Hukuru Miskiiy mosque was constructed in
1658 under the rule of Sultan Ibrahim
Iskandar I. Also known as Mal Friday
Mosque, it is built with coral stone and the
Quranic script is carved on it. The interiors
of the mosque are decorated with lacquer
work and woodcarvings. To witness its
beauty from inside, a special permission
from an official of Ministry of Islamic
Affairs is required. It is surrounded by a
cemetery and daily prayers are still
conducted here.
Independence Square
Famous as Jumhooree Maidhaan,
Independence Square lies exactly at the
centre of Mal. People usually visit it for
social gatherings and most of Maldives
youth hangout here. It's also a good
location to explore the lives of local people
and their traditions. The Maldivian flag
waves high beautifully here in the middle
of the square.
National Museum
With the purpose of safeguarding the
history of the country and inspiring a
feeling of patriotism among the people, the
National Museum was founded on the
Maldives National Day in 1952. It houses
relics from the pre-Islamic era like
furniture and costumes.
Mulee Aage Palace
Built in the early 20th century, Mulee Aage
was the palace built by Sultan Mohamed
Shamsuddeen III for his son. In 1936, the
palace was officially declared as the
property of the government and since

British Loyalty Wreck Diving
The British Loyalty was an English cargo
ship that was sunk by the Japanese at the
end of World War II. Addu Atoll, the sight
of this wreck, is home to 700 species of
fishes including parrot fish, clown fish and
the angel fish.
Manta Point
Manta Point is the ideal location to go
diving or snorkeling in Maldives. It is
famous for Manta rays, large fishes related
to sharks, which can be spotted during the
months from May to November. You can
also see turtles and sharks.
North Mal Atoll
North Mal Atoll is the most visited place in
the Maldives. The place is dotted with
plenty of diving sites with rich marine life.
Do not worry if you don't have any diving
experience. You can book a learning course
and an instructor to teach.
South Ari Atoll
How many times in your lifetime would you
get a chance to swim with the large and
scary whales and sharks? You can
experience this at South Ari Atoll very
easily. Touching them and using a flashy
camera should be avoided.

treatments. There are lots of spas across
the island, offering plenty of treatments to

Minimum operating strength is required to operate any departure date.

Payment for land component (towards hotel, transfers and sightseeing in foreign country) will be taken as per Rate of Exchange (ROE)
on the day of making full and final payments. In the event of increase in the ROE taken into account the prices defined may be

TUI India will not bear any cancellation charges of domestic air travel, domestic hotel and any other services booked by customer.
Due to operational reasons, the routing of the tours may be amended. However, all mentioned services will remain unchanged.

Cost of deviation and cost of extension of the validity on your ticket is not included

In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard
Check-in at hotels is 1400 hours and check-out is 1000 hours
Missed or delayed flights can lead to changes in itinerary and will be at the clients' expense should the case arise

The applicable Rate of Exchange for initial payment/ booking amount shall be determined by the prevailing rate on the date/- day of
booking and balance payment will be charged as per the prevailing rates on that particular day

Any further increase in the air fare due to an increase in the fuel Price, change in Government regulations, taxes, etc., charged by the
