2. Workers should be trained, competent, and certified for their assigned tasks.
3. When using specialized tools/equipment, be sure to review its safe operating procedure.
4. Extension cords should be of the double insulation type, should have no splice points in between its length, should be connected to a
GFCI, and should be able to carry the continuous load current.
5. Before tapping to the facility's power outlets, ask permission from authorized facility personnel.
6. Secure tools from falling if working at heights.
7. Never assume. When in doubt, ASK.
