AC PROCEDURE - Vacuum and Charge

To Vacum
1 - Make sure valves in manifold gage set are close
2 - Connect high and low Preassure connectrors to the vehicle.
3 - Turn to Open both High and low connector valves connect to the vehicle.
4 - Connect yellow hose to Vacuum Pump
5 - Turn on vacum Pump
6 - Now open both High and Low gages in manifold gage set
7 - Let it run for about 30 to 45 minutes.
8 - Now close both valves in manifold gage set (after running for 30 to 45 Minutes)
9 - Turn off your Vacuum Pump and wait 1 Hour Minutes (look at your gage readings)
10- Make sure your reading are the same and you did not loose any vacuum after the
hour.
11- If your readings are the same you are good to go, you have no leaks.
12- Run the vacuum for another 45 minutes.
13- Open both High and Low gages in manifold gage set
14- Turn the Vacuum and let it run for 45 min.
15- After 45 minutes close both valves from manifold gage
16- Turn off the Vacuum Pump - you are ready to charge the system (add Refrigerant)

If you lost vacuum, that means you ahave a leak in your system. (fix your leak and
repeat this procedure)

To Charge
1 - Connect the yellow line to your refrigerant
2 - Open the refrigerant valve so refrigerant flows in tot he yellow line
3 - Purge the yellow line to get rid of air in the line.
4 - Press the valve in the purge tip until refrigerant comes out
5 - Start the car
6 - Turn the fan to low
7 - Turn the AC button on
8 - Open the LO valve (Blue Only) on the Manifold Gage. (Never open the HI -RED
when charging)
9 - It starts pulling Refrigerant, once you have enough refrigerant the compressor
will start.
10- When the compressor starts the LO side gage will go down and the HI will startg
going up
11- If your refrigerant can gets empty, close the LO valve in the manifold gage
set.
12- Close your can valve, and remove it from the can.
13- connect it to the new can, Open the valve.
14- Open the LO valve on the manifold gage set slowly.
15- Repeat until you add all the refrigerant you need.
16- Close both LO and HI valves on the manifold gage set.
17- Close Both LO and HI valves connected to the vehicle, then disconnect both.
18- Connect both yuour LO and HI Caps.

Cold tem should be around 42 degrees.
