Main Themes

1. Courage
- King Arthur and his knight displays the
elements of courage. Arthur was just a young
boy when he accepts the challenge to pull out
the sword from the magic stone.
- Arthur also dares to take up the challenge to
become the King of England even though he
initially does not know how to be a king.
- King Arthur and his knight fight against
Mordred army without fear until many die in
the battle.

2. Loyalty and sacrifice


- This theme is exemplified by the knight and
soldiers when they face challenge in battle,
they do not give up.
- All the knights are always ready to defend
the country to bring peace and harmony to the
kingdom
- Lancelot remains loyal toward King Arthur.
He comes with his men to King Arthur to
fight against Mordred.

3. Brotherhood
- The knight of the Round Table work and
fight together in the battlefields
- All the knights are united in trying to
maintain peace in England. They help one
another should any one of them is in need.
- When King Arthur is challenged by Mordred
to fight. Lancelot is ready to help even though
King Arthur banished Lancelot.

4. Trust
- King Arthur trusts Merlin completely and
heavily relied on Merlin guide to become a
good king.
- He usually follows Merlin advice in all
matters. In fact, the only time when King
Arthur defies Merlin is when he wants to
marry Guinevere.
- Even after Merlin leaves King Arthur, he
continues to look out for him and warns him
when necessary. King Arthur usually takes
notice when Merlin has something to say.

Courage
- King Arthur learn to become brave and
overcome his weaknesses as he is the King
of England and need to protect his people.
- King Arthur do not listen to Merlin advice
as he wants to marry Guinevere after he
meet her and fall in love. Merlin warn him
about the danger that might happen after
the marriage.
- King Arthur dare to pull out the sword
from the magic stone at a very young age
although lots of people laugh at him during
that time.

Brotherhood
- Lancelot never leave King Arthur as being
banish from the castle as he come back and
help King Arthur to kill Mordred.
- All the knight of the round table fight
bravely with King Arthur to overcome
Mordred army and many die for doing so
as they are helping that leader and friend.
- Knight of the Round Table will always
help each other if any one of them having
problem. Lancelot and his brother of arms
always ready to fight together.

Love
- King Arthur fight his master decision as he
make his decision to marry Guinevere
- King Arthur get jealous of relationship
between Lancelot and Guinevere as he
love Guinevere so much
- As prove of his love, King Arthur built a
castle just for Guinevere and named it as
Camelot.
Betrayal
- King Arthur learn how people that very
close to him can betray him and take over
his country.
- Lancelot action to accompany Guinevere
can be consider as act of friendship
betrayal. He goes out with Guinevere
without King Arthur knowledge.
- The biggest betrayal in the story is when
Mordred dare to kill King Arthur just so he
can becomes King of England. King
Arthur and Mordred can be consider as
family members as they have same father.

Loyalty and sacrifice


- Lancelot as knight of the Round Table
never forget his loyalty toward King
Arthur even though he is banish from
Camelot
- Merlin and Lancelot sacrifice their life to
help King Arthur become a great king as
they help him until he nearly kill by
Mordred.
- Lancelot managed to forget his despair
after having trouble with King Arthur and
fight side by side with King Arthur to kill
Mordred at the end of the story.
