1.0 Purpose

The purpose of this procedure is to ensure that the production activities are planned
and manufactured to meet the customer requirements under controlled conditions.

2.0 Scope

This procedure covers the fabrication activities such as planning, material selection,
galvanizing, testing and delivery.

3.0 Responsibility & Authority

It is the responsibility of Production Controller to ensure that all activities are carried
out in compliance with this procedure. This procedure is authorized by the General
Manager and any changes thereof can be made with his approval only.

6.1 Delivery Coordination

On receipt of work order, Production Controller identifies the priority based on the
commitment of sales department for delivery and details are provided to Production
Coordinator.

6.2 Galvanizing Control

Production Controller provides delivery schedule to the Galvanizing sub-contractors

where materials are sent for galvanizing. Materials are sent along with Sub-
contractor Transfer Note which is prepared as per the work order.

Production Controller makes regular visit to galvanizing companies and carry out
checks as per the requirements and details are recorded in the Sub-contractor
Monitoring Report. During Galvanizing, In-process inspection and testing are
carried out as per specification by the Galvanizing companies.

If any abnormal non-conformity is noticed, it should bring to the knowledge of

Galvanizing Company, and necessary corrective action to be carried out
immediately. Test report is obtained randomly from the Galvanizing companies.

6.3 Cleaning and Delivery

Production Controller ensures galvanized de-burs are removed and checked before
delivery. Production Coordinator prepares delivery note as per the customer
order/work order and arranges for delivery.

6.4 Pending Sales Order

Production controller obtains details from the system about pending order details
and follow up with the status based on production and galvanizing. Daily status is
monitored and updated.
