Objet : Motivation for PROGRAM COORDINATOR

I hereby declare that I have the honor to inform you of the few elements of my reasons
for submitting my application for this position.
As you can see from my CV, my reasons for applying for this position are varied, but they
are mostly related to the experiences I had during my professional career.
I have been working for more than twenty years in the field of development, particularly at
the level of local and regional authorities, notably in terms of strengthening the capacities
of development actors (local elected representatives, deconcentrated technical services
of the State, local The civil society, the populations.

I worked for several years with international NGOs such as Solidarits International in
Chad and Nigeria, Oxfam in Benin and the Democratic Republic of Congo as program
manager / manager to support partners in drawing up action plans, In implementation
and monitoring and evaluation.

Also in Niger with the NGO Mercy Corps as a Good Governance, Decentralization and
Local Development Advisor and in several projects funded by major institutions such as
UNDP, WB, FAO, USAID, WFP, UNICEF, UNCDF, FBS, etc. As an Expert in charge of
infrastructure development and mobilization and empowerment of communities to realize
and take charge of the investments made. I adhere perfectly to the values and
philosophy of all these actors to development from where my Long time commitment.
In addition, I have had the opportunity to work in highly diversified organizations, in the
state, private, community and international sectors. This has allowed me to develop a
very interesting panoply of solutions and ways of doing things that help me a lot in my
way of thinking and thinking in order to support development organizations.

I have also had to strengthen the capacities of several Civil Society Organizations in their
roles of counter power in the young African democracy and in their roles as actors in
grassroots development. I also supported decentralized communities (municipalities) and
deconcentrated communities (prefectures) in the development and implementation of
their development programs through training, coaching, advisory support and monitoring
and evaluation.

I am a Civil Engineer by training, then a Diploma of Higher Studies specialized in project


management with a great experience of accompanying the actors to the development
(local elected representatives, the deconcentrated technical services of the State, the
organizations of society Civil society, populations, etc.) in the daily struggle to fight
poverty, also fights for transparency, justice and equity.

In addition to this amount of experience, I have very important assets for this post; it is
the experience on the field and the knowledge of the country, particularly the intervention
zone (Borno State) where am working now.

To all this we can also add my sense of communication, sharing of information,
interpersonal relations, inter-culturality, and guarantee of a good accompaniment of local
actors to development.

For all these reasons, working with you would be an opportunity for me to put at the
disposal of many of the agents of SIF its partners, the few lessons learned compared to
the experience gained during my professional career in particular at the level of:
