Admission to First Year Post SSC Diploma in Engineering/Technology | General Guidelines to ARC/FC for Document Verification 1. Scanning and uploading of documents is not required. If candidates do not possess original ‘SSC mark-sheet at the time of document verification at FG, they may show online mark sheet print attested by their institute Headmaster/Principal. In sich a case, the FC officer should verify the result by entering required credentials of the candidate on the official website of i the concerned board/authority, put remarks as ‘Verified marks from official website’ at the i time of Confirmation of Application Form by FC. (Note: For respective CAP round reporting at ARC Original Mark-sheet is required ) 2, Name mentioned as per SSC Mark sheet should be filled in the application form, (First Name - Name of the Candidate, Last Name - Surname and Middle Name - Father's Name).FC login has been provided with facility to change the name of candidate subject to matching the other details e.g Mother's name, father’s name, address etc. FC shall verify the details and do necessary changes in candidates name. Minor Typographical/ Clerical Mistakes in name are to be ignored, if other details are matching e.g. Permanent Address, DOB, Name of Parents. Minor variation in name should be verified with other documents and accepted, if found ok. The name is written in different ways such as NITA and NEETA. 4, Incase of the candidates, who have applied for revaluation, can apply now even if they are not eligible as on today, In such case, Current Mark sheet can be submitted at FC and application of candidate can be accepted & processed by FC. After the declaration of Revaluation/compartment Result, these candidates will be considered for remaining rounds of admission as per Rule, if applicable, Please ensure that the candidate has applied for verification to the concerned board, 5, The candidates who have failed in qualifying examination or whose result is declared as Compartment can also apply. Such candidates shall not be eligible for admission through CAP. The option failed/compartment is provided in the qualifying examination passing } status for such candidates. Their form will be provisionally accepted. Later on, these candidates should report to FC or Regional office for updating their re-exam result. ‘These candidates will be considered for remaining rounds of admission through CAP, if applicable, after the declaration of Re-exam Result as per Rule, if they pass the qualifying examination. i | | 6. Nationality certificate:- i Nationality Certificate issued by Competent Authority ~ $DO, Dy. Collector, Collector or above rank of Revenue Department (not by Sarpanch, Talathi, MLA, MP, etc). Ifthe certificate is not available, any of the following proof may be accepted. j i. Birth certificate of the candidate having place of birth in India, The certificate shall be : issued by the appropriate Authority depending upon Village, Taluka, Nagar Palika, | Mahanagar Palika, ete, (not by Hospital). i, Leaving certificate mentioning Nationality as Indian, There should be a separate item i of Nationality, fii, Indian Passport. (Not OCI) 7. Domicile Certificate issued by respective Competent Authori Domicile Certificate clearly mentioning Maharashtra Domicile. i, Domicile Certificate may be by Choicé/ Education purpose /by Birth / Intent to stay. (Rahivashi/Residence Certificate shall not be accepted).Domicile Certificate of Mother of the candidate shall be supported with marriage certificate and legal proof of change in name, if any. Such candidate will be required to submit birth certificate clearly mentioning the name of the mother in addition to above certificate, iv. For Type B candidates, Birth certificate of the Candidate or hisgifér Parents is not acceptable. = 8, Income certificate issued by the appropriate Competent Authority is acceptable, Revenue Department, SDO and equivalent Officer / Above Rank Officer issues certificate. (Talathi / Sarpanch Certificate not to be accepted) 9. Caste/Tribe Certificate issued by concerned Competent Authority: If the candidate has submitted the original caste certificate (For State Government purpose) of the candidate for the purpose of validity certificate then accept the attested copy of the caste certificate and original proof regarding submission of caste certificate for Validity. If the caste of the candidate is recognised in other than Maharashtra state then such candidate is not eligible for Caste benefit, though the certificate is issued by Maharashtra Govt Officer. The Castes recognised as Backward Class Category in Other States need to be checked critically. The Sr. No, Of the caste shall not match with the Record of Online System, The Government may have migrated the serial no of the Caste from one category to another. Hence precaution need to be taken in such cases. The Sr Number of the caste is mentioned on certificate and need to be checked accordingly. 10. If. idate Open -availability_of the caste related required documents, then, he/she will have to_pay difference for category conversion from Reserved Category to Open, which is non-refundable, The candidate can pay itcash at FC 11. Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued by competent authority:- NCL must be valid upto 31st March 2018. The receipt for NCL should not be accepted in any case. Few certificates are valid for two or three years. If date is not mentioned, then issuing date should be in current financial year. NCL with caste certificate in the same document is acceptable. 12, The Eligibility Certificate issued by Association of Indian Unive (AIU), New Delhi is required for OCI, CIWGC if Board of SSCis outside India. If the candidates has studied abroad but the SSC Board is approved in Indian ( State / Central), no need of equivalence certificate. Select the appropriate board from the list. 13. Ifthe candidate has taken admission in some other institute and submitted the original mnark shects/documents, then he should produce letter from that institute for the same having list of documents, In such case, his/her form should be confirmed based on that letter. Put remark as ‘Original Documents at XYZ Institute, verified from attested copies’. 14. In case of Children Employees of Government of Maharashtra, Government Of Maharashtra Undertaking, Central Government, Central Government Undertaking, ensure that the parent is working in Maharashtra, except active defence person who have retained their family in Maharashtra, ‘The Ex-Serviceman (Def-1) category candidates have to submit Defence Service Certificate Pro forma ~ C and Domicile certificate of father/mother who is an Ex service personnel is omiciled in the State of Maharashtra, The employee should not be CIVILIAN Staff. 15. The Active Domicile Defence Candidates (Def-2) have to submit Defence Service Certificate Pro forma ~ C and Domicile certificate of father/mother who is an active defence service person domiciled in the State of Maharashtra, The employee should not be CIVILIAN Staff 2io 16, Active Non Domicile Defence Candidates (Def-3) candidates have to submit Defence Service Certificate Pro forma ~ Cand D/E AND OR “ candidate who is an active defence service person and has retained the family at 47. 18. 19, 20. 21. 22, 23, 24, 25. 26. Certificate from the employer in the pro forma ~ D stating that father/mother of the candidate who'is an active defence service person presently posted in Maharashtra, Certificate from the employer in the proforma - E stating that father/mother of the previous place of posting in Maharashtra. ‘The employee should not be CIVILIAN Staff. Persons with Disability Candidates (P1, P2, P3) have to submit Certificate in the proforma~ F/#-1 and Domicile certificate of candidate, ‘The format issued by appropriate authority in their format is also to be accepted. Please check the seal of the Authority and designations of the Officers. Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidates 1, Certificate of posting in case of defence alnd Government servants in proforma ~] 2, Certificate of stay in refugee camp for those staying in camp in proforma - K 3, Certificate stating that the candidate belongs to displaced family proforma -L Due to some unavoidable circumstance, if the candidate could not remain present at FC for document verification, then candidate's blood relative can submit the application form at FC by producing the Authority Letter from the candidate and the person should submit his/her identity proof, then FC officer can verify the documents ofthe candidate, ‘The Maharashtra State Type A anid Type B can only select the Minority Type ( Religious / Linguistic). It’s not applicable for Maharashtra Type-C, Type-D and Type-E as well es OMS, Candidate passing SSC/Equivalent Examination from a recognised institution located in a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area or from Maharashtra, residing in the disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose Mother Tongue is Marathi can claim for Maharashtra Type-H candidature. They have to submit Proforma: G1 and .G2. List of Districts, Talukas and Villages included under MKB is available on the website which can be used to verify the piace mentioned by the candidate in the application form. Domicile of Maharashtra or Karnataka to be accepted. In case of Defence candidates , if father is not alive, we may consider the alternate documents to prove that the parent was domicile of Maharashtrawith proper stay - such as Land Record, Property , Ration Card, Electricy Bill, Defence Certificate, Educational documents.
