1. General Information

Geodesy is the study of the shape and size of the earths surface, determines the position
(Coordinate) points, length, and direction of the line of the earth's surface, including the Earth's
gravitational field was studying.
1. Terrestrial : Ground level measurement (Topography).
2. Aerial : Photogrammetric Measurement.
3. Hydrographic : The nature and dynamics of sea water, produced by the measurement /
observations of tides, ocean currents, wave and physical properties of
seawater.
4. Extra-Terrestrial : Positioning with GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System).

2. Topographic Survey

a. Topographic Survey
Topographic survey is simply recording of the coordinates and height of the data for a
particular survey area. This data can be used to create spot height maps, contour
maps, or more complex terrain models of the surveyed area.

Investments at Marina - Batam Riau Islands Indonesia.
d. Method Statement of Topographic Survey
i. Polygons Measurement
Polygon measurement framework is intended as a reference or control point
for all measurements rendered details will be measured. Polygon measurement
method using single series with precision range of 1 : 5000. And angle
measurement accuracy is 10 "seconds measurements, follow the Boundary
polygon area to be measured / mapped.
The equipment used Total Station, with the number one team measurement.
ii. Measurement Situation
Details of which will be measured, among others is: spot height (ground
level), main roads, driveways, walkways, river, ditch, channel, main drain,
building, cottage, trees, parks, utilities network such as pipelines, cable lines,
electricity poles.
