Note: Eachlongsideofthecardmaybeusedtwice.Eachshortsideofthecardmay
beusedonlyonce.Thus,asinglecardcantreat6MSRdeviceswithoneUPandone

Priortoplacinginoperation,theMSRdeviceshouldbeswipedwiththeMSR
TreatmentCard.
ExistingMSR:
AnexistingMSRshouldbecleanedusinganMSRCleaningCardbeforetreatingit
withaMSRTreatmentCard.Forlowuseretailestablishments,thecleaningand
treatmentproceduresshouldbefollowedatleastoncepermonth.Inareasof
extremelyhightraffic(inexcessof500swipesperday)oranoperatingenvironment
thatishighincontaminants,suchasfoundinthefoodserviceindustry,aweekly
cleaningandtreatmentshouldbeperformed.
