CASE CONCERNING THE

AERIAL INCIDENT OF

(UNITED STATES OF AMERICA v. BULGARIA)

ORDER

The Vice-President of the International Court of Justice, Acting

President in this case,
having regard to Article 48 of the Statute of the Court,
having regard to Article 37 of the Rules of Court;
Having regard to the Order of November 26th, 1957, whereby
the Court fixed June znd, 1958, as the time-limit for the filing of
the Mernorial of the Government of the United States of America,
and reserved for a subsequent Order the fixing of a time-limit
for the filing by the Respondent of its Counter-Memorial;

After ascertaining the views of the Respondent,

Fixes December gth, 1958, as the time-limit for the filing of the
Counter-Memorial of the Government of the People's Republic of
Bulgaria ;
Reserves the rest of the procedure for further decision.
Done in English and French, the English text being authoritative,
at the Peace Palace, The Hague, this twenty-seventh day of
January, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight, in three

ORDONNANCE

Le Vice-Prsident de la Cour internationale de Justice, faisant

fonction de Prsident en la prsente affaire,
vu l'article 48 du Statut de la Cour,
vu l'article 37 du Rglement de la Cour;
Vu l'ordonnance du 26 novembre 1957 par laquelle la Cour a
fix au 2 juin 1958 la date d'expjration du dlai pour le dpt du
mmoire du Gouvernement des Etats-Unis d'Amrique et rserv
pour une ordonnance rendre ultrieurement la fixation d'un dlai
pour la prsentation par la Partie dfenderesse de son contre-
mmoire;
Aprs s'tre renseign auprs de la Partie dfenderesse,
Fixe au 9 dcembre 1958 la date d'expiration du dlai pour le
dpt du contre-mmoire du Gouvernement de la Rpublique
populaire de Bulgarie ;
Rserve la suite de la procdure.
Fait en anglais et en franais, le texte anglais faisant foi, au
Palais de la Paix, La Haye, le vingt-sept janvier mil neuf cent
cinquante-huit, en trois exemplaires, dont l'un restera dpos aux
copies, one of which will be placed in the archives of the Court and
the others transmitted to the Government of the United States of
America and to the Government of the People's Republic of
Bulgaria, respectively.
