To make sure that Health and Social Care Records are looked after properly and securely,
Priory Group has to appoint a Caldicott Guardian, who has delegated the local responsibility
to someone on site.

If you work on a site where you are keeping Health or Social Care records then you will need
to find out who the Caldicott Guardian is for your site.

This is the person who has overall responsibility for making sure the processes and proce-
dures around confidentiality are working properly.
