Terms and Conditions governing the engagement of various posts for project.

WAPCOS intends to fill up the following posts urgently for various projects in Tripura, Manipur,
Nagaland, Assam & West Bengal. The requisite qualification, experience prescribed for the posts are
as under:

Experience required
Should have worked as Resident Engineer/Project Manager or
equivalent for minimum 5 years on supervision/construction of
Building projects, involving high rise star rating building
construction techniques.
2. Bridge/Structural
(d) 50 Years (e) Qualification required
Engineer (f) Essential: Civil Engineer with Masters degree in the field of
(1 No.) structural engineering.
Experience required
Should have relevant professional experience of about 12 years.
Out of his total experience, he should have worked for at least 10
years on high rise star rating building construction techniques.
3. Material/Quality
(g) 55 Years (h) Qualification required
Control Engineer (i) Essential: Civil Engineer with additional qualifications in Geo-
(1 No.) technical Engineering.
Experience required
Should have about 15 years of relevant professional experience.
Out of his total experience, he should have worked for at least 08
years as Material Engineer/Geo-technical Engineer on building
construction projects or on related works of similar projects.
4. Building Architect 50 Years (j) Qualification required
& Structural (k) Essential: Civil Engineering Graduate and Management
Engineer cum Qualification.
Auto CAD Design Experience required
and Management Should have about 12 years of relevant professional experience in
Engineer Building, Design/construction project.

5. Electrical Engineer 35 Years (l) Qualification required
(2 Nos.) (m) Essential: Engineering Graduate in the branch of Electrical or
Electrical Electronics Engineering.
Experience required
5 to 8 years experience having sound knowledge in BEE
certification guideline & have the capacity to design Electrical
installation & power distribution system, lighting arrest etc.
6. Mechanical 35 Years (n) Qualification required
Engineer (o) Essential: Engineering Graduate in the branch of Mechanical
(2 Nos.) Engineering.
Experience required
5 to 8 years experience having sound knowledge in BEE
certification guideline & have the capacity to Mechanical
installation & Air conditioning, captive power system unit, lift &
fire fighting system.
7. Building & 35 Years (p) Qualification required
Structural Design (q) Essential: Civil Engineering Graduate.
Engineer cum Experience required
CADD Expert Should have 5 to 8 years experience. He should be fully
(1 No.) conversant with Building design using CADD, etc.
8. Survey Engineer 35 Years (r) Qualification required
(1 No.) (s) Essential: Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience required
Should have 5 to 8 years experience in Survey. Engineer should
 be conversant with modern survey equipment, total staions, auto
level, digital level etc.
9. Computer cum 35 Years (t) Qualification required
Data Entry (u) Essential: Graduate in any Field.
Operators Experience required

(1 No.) (w) Essential: 10th class passed.

11. Electrical Engineer 55 Years (x) Qualification required
(1 No.) (y) Essential: ME/BE in Electrical Engineering.
Experience required
Should have 12 years experience in Electrical projects preferably
in PMA & TPIA works.
Location of Posting : Kohima, Nagaland
12. Electrical Engineer 55 Years (z) Qualification required
(1 No.) (aa) Essential: ME/BE in Electrical Engineering.
Experience required
Should have 12 years experience in Electrical projects preferably
in PMA & TPIA works.

13. Electrical Engineer 55 Years (bb) Qualification required
(1 No.) (cc) Essential: ME/BE in Electrical Engineering.
Experience required
Should have 12 years experience in Electrical projects preferably
in PMA & TPIA works.

14. Fishery Expert 68 Years (dd) Qualification required
(1 No.) (ee) Essential: Post Graduation in Pisciculture/Zoology.
Experience required
Should have 15 years experience in Preparation of DPR in
Fishery Projects.
15. Water Supply 65 Years (ff) Qualification required
Expert (gg) Essential: BE in Civil/ME in Public Health.

Should have 15 years experience in handling Water Supply
Projects.

Those who are working in Govt. departments/PSU/Autonomous bodies are required to apply through
proper channel or produce no objection certificate.

The posts are purely on temporary basis for its Project requirements.

Relevant experience will be given due weightage and remuneration shall be commensurate to
qualification and experience.

Number of posts may vary as per requirement of projects of the company.

Management reserves the right to fix the criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for
written/skill test/interview.

Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD will be as per Government rules and preference will be given
to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates if otherwise found suitable.

Before submission of application, the candidate must ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria
and other norms mentioned in the advertisement.
CVs should be submitted strictly in prescribed proforma alongwith photocopies of documents in
support of Date of birth, Qualification, Experience and Proof of category etc. in case of candidate
belonging with reserved category. Any other proforma will not be accepted.
The candidates engaged to the post are liable to be posted anywhere in India or abroad as per
exigencies of works of the company. Applicant should have valid Indian Passport and will be
required at the time of joining.
The mere fact that a candidate has submitted his/her application against the advertisement and
apparently fulfilling the criteria as prescribed in the advertisement would not bestow on him/her the
right to be definitely called for skill test/interview/considered further for engagement.

The Company will not be responsible for any postal delay within the specified time.
