1.) Two convenience stores I frequently visit

a. My Satisfaction
These two stores have a pharmacy and a convenience store. Both
of these stores are located in San Roque, Zamboanga City, which is
where I live and that why I visit these stores. I frequently visit one of them
when theres something urgent I wanna buy and theres no need for me
to go to the city proper to buy something, especially when I crave for a
particular food that sari sari stores dont offer. I can say that I am satisfied
to both of these stores because they can manage to give what I want.
But sometimes, Ceciles pharmacy lacks some items. They have a different
environment and sense of comfortability but these two stores are versatile
in their customer needs.
b. Which is better?
C&E Pharmacy and grocery store is much better because they offer
a lot of things not just groceries but also includes school supplies, clothing,
shoes, appliances, accessories, furniture, etc. This store can give you what
you really want and some of the products are much cheaper than of
Ceciles pharmacy. It is like a one stop shop for all your necessities is not
located in the city proper but just in a barangay. It is much more
convenient because theres no need for me to go to the city proper to
buy things. And for Ceciles Pharmacy and convenience store, I can say
that I prefer going here because I am much for comfortable and used to
buy things here. Even if it lacks some items I still prefer going here.
c. Areas to be improved
For C&E Pharmacy and grocery store, they should improve their
advertising because their store is not yet really known to all

zamboanguenos. Because, even though they have complete things and


it is a one stop shop, if it is not known to the public then their store is
useless. For Ceciles pharmacy and convenience store, they should add
more products from time to time. Theres nothing much more I want to
add because these two stores are beautiful and unique in its own way
and also they can manage to give what I need so why bother.

CHINA- They could create rival products on their own, and reach
customers who were too poor. They favor quality over quantity and
these people have patriotism to their own local brands which leads to
the success of most of their countrys companies success.
THAILAND- Thailand's customs tariff is primarily for revenue, although in
a limited fashion it protects local industry. No preferential treatment is
afforded any country and all goods are subject to the general rate.

4. How does product packaging affect consumers decision of purchasing the


product?

In the store, the packaging acts as a gateway to the product. Consumers


look at the packaging and respond to how it makes them feel at that moment.

If the consumer feels that the product can potentially satisfy their needs, it
influences their buying behavior. This feeling is a result of choices made across
several cognitive stages, thus most consumers find it to be complex and
overwhelming at times. Since consumers are often in state of confusion, the
most important role of packaging is to alleviate their fears. This article analyzes a
typical consumer buying behavior in detail to highlight the role of packaging
throughout.
Packaging has also been directly related to the quality of the product. It
also affects whether a product is noticed on the shelf. As such, marketers need
to integrate all types of buying influences into the package. According to
reports by the University of Miami and California Institute of Technology,
packaging has been proven as a crucial factor in decision making. Aesthetic
aspects like color, typography, brightness, and other graphics influence where a
potential buyer is attracted to on the shelf. Products that are attractively
packed are looked closer and the competition is already narrowed down.
Perpetual processes run parallel in the brain of the consumer along with
economic value computations. All of this together influence how the final
decision is made.
Packaging elements like color, images, typography, and brand name
influence how soon the package catches the eye. Particularly with less
expensive and low risk products, the consumer has low involvement in the
purchase and the only motivating factor is the packaging. These are also the
products that are bought on impulse. Brands will continue to work hard to meet
consumer demands and attractive packaging will always hold a preferential
place.

5. Enumerate reasons why some products success are low. If you are the owner
of the product, what are the things that you would do to increase in success?

I think good reputation and remarkable commercial are the two


important factors that contribute to their success in business. In reality, a
companys reputation and their commercials are tightly related to customers
interest in their products, and there are many good examples of how these two
factor effect companies growth.
Companies reputation is what people know about the companies, and it
can directly affects people interest in the companies. It is easy to see how it
works; of course, no one would like to buy things from dishonest companies, nor
would anyone like to go to stores that have bad services. Tommy, for example, is
a well-known clothing store that recently suffers from its bad reputation. One of
Tommys designers made some discriminative opinions, which makes many
people refuse to wear Tommys clothes. As the result, Tommy has lost many
customers and a significant amount of money. From this example, we can see
the importance for successful companies to keep their good reputation.
Besides good reputation, companies commercials are also the crucial
factor to succeed. People have to learn about the products first before they
buy the products, and that is what commercials do: to introduce products and
to attract people to buy them. The more people know the products, the better
profit companies can make. In addition, companies have to make to their
commercials unique and attractive so that people are willing to see. Therefore,
most of successful companies invest a great amount of money on their
commercials because they know even a short commercial can make the huge
difference. A lot of companies have their unique strategies to make their

business successful, but the two factors, reputation and commercial, are the
common and the most important keys to companies success. On the one
hand, companies reputation establishes customers trust on the companies,
and on the other hand, companies commercial bring customers interest in their
products. Although companies that make the most profit might be what people
consider the successful companies, I believe companies contributions to
society are still the most importance.

6. Select a hotel or restaurant you are very familiar with. State the reasons why
these hotel or restaurant caught your attention to try their services.

Palacio Del Sur.

It is a huge place particularly for Zamboanga standard. Decors are


elegantly made, washrooms are spacious and ballrooms can accommodate
100 to 500 or more guests. It feels like the people behind it really thought about
the details and exerted effort in making the place the best events place in
Zamboanga. New, big, clean, impressive design. event place for everything. I
was impressed with the underground parking lot with elevator.

7. What is the price of the product that you have made? How much did you
spend? And how much are you willing to put its selling price?

I can say that it is reasonable because I include the cost of
