ENRICHMENT: (40 Minutes) The teacher will provide input
1. Disaster happen only when vulnerability and
exposure are left in a alarming state so that
even just a slight hazard can result in a
tremendous disaster
2. Disaster can be reduced or prevented. It
depends on how vulnerability and exposure are
manipulated.
3. Natural hazards are actually natural processes
on earth . they have been continuously shaping
and sculpting earths topography
4. They are known to be natural hazards only
because they cause loss or damage lives and
properties. Hence, the negative connotation of
natural disasters stems from human
perspective.
5. While theres seems to be no way to escape
disaster, there are ways on how to prevent its
occurrence and reduce its magnitude. It is
important than to understand how and when
an event can become a disaster so that
appropriate measures and strategies can be put
in place.
EVALUATION:
1. POST EQ DRILL Evaluation The teacher will collate EQ drill
2. COLLATE EVALUATION EQ DRILL SHEET: evaluation sheets. Submit EQ drill report
