Vacation Bible School August 9 th

The event will take place on August 9th from 9-
3:30 p.m. rain or shine. The theme is All Those
Who Thirst, Come to the Water.

The cost is $10 per child or $25 for a family of three or

more. A t-shirt, snacks, lunch, activities, and crafts are
included in the price. In addition, time will be allowed for
play in the spray park.
Registration is ongoing so stop by the office or email Judy at judy@scsparish.com.
Year End Evaluation
The results are in from the evaluation that was
given at the end of the year. Thank you to all who
responded. Results will be given through this
newsletter soon.

Needed are volunteers for check in, snacks, lunch, supervision, and fun. Big Raffle Results!
We would like to give out a very BIG thank you to
all of our families that helped with the raffle this
year. We were able to raise a total of $1,962.50

2017-2018 Faith Formation Classes for our Faith Formation Department!!

Faith Formation classes are right around the corner. Registration is in progress.
New this year will be a make-up session for students who cant come on Sunday
morning for grades 1-5.
Bishops Ball
Our Youth Ministry submitted two baskets and a
bench for the Bishops Ball in April. We raised a
total of $450! Thank you Shaye Wilcox for the
artistry on the bench! You did an awesome job!

The goal is to have better attendance rates this year. The make-up day will be Other VBS
Monday and the time will be determined based on parental needs. Our Lady of

Other Bay City VBS

We have partnered with our other Bay City Catholic churches to offer different Vacation All Saints Parish August 14-17,
Bible School programs throughout the summer. There is one in July at Our Lady of 9:00am-11:30am

High School and Middle

School Fund Raisers

Throughout the summer we will be having fund raisers to help support
our Youth Ministries.

There are several trips and events planned within the 2017/18 year. Fund raisers help MIDDLE SCHOOL MINI NCYC!

We have 6 high schoolers that have been Called to attend the National Catholic We will have information on a middle

Rock the Island - July 22, 2017, Noon 8PM

We are getting a group of middle and high school children together for this event. Its
a Christian rock concert that includes groups such as Newsboys. We will be leaving
from St. Catherine of Siena at 11:00am by car and returning about 9:00pm.

There are permission slips available in church on the cushions or at the parish office.
The cost of the event is $5.00. We encourage those who attend to bring a sack lunch
and some spending money. There is a list of items suggested to bring on the
information sheet attached to the permission slip. Call Lori Marsh for more
