PRECAST BOUNDRY WALL


1. Introduction
From being a boundary marker to providing security, fencing serves various purposes. Orilite
offers a wide range of lightweight Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) panel systems which are not
only highly customizable, but also an attractive and effective way of perimeter fencing.
The innovative alternative to Stone/ Brick masonry makes Wall is Orilite Boundary Wall system
which is easy and affordable - and an ideal fencing system. Boundary panel rested on steel / RCC
column post which can be easily and quickly erected without the need for extensive excavation or strip
footings, as is normally the case for traditional masonry fence construction. After erection of Post &
panel Orilite Boundary Wall can be finished as per client Requirement.

As a designer panel and can also be adapted to include a range of different decorative treatments
such as Stone/Brick Pattern.

The new Boundary Wall Panel system uses a specially designed Boundary RCC I shape Wall
Post or I Girder steel Hot rolled section or Hollow Pipe steel section which can be installed in corner ,
edge or in intermediate places of wall. For steel Pipe section brackets is installed to connect the fence
panel to post .for stepped for sloping terrain, bracket can be easily rotated and screwed to Fence panel
.

2. INSTALLATION GUIDLINE -

Step1: Excavatethe pit / trench of required depth and sizeas


per wind capacity, height of wall and soilcapacity from
Table -1 or design from structure engineer . Centre to
centre distance of pit may be study from drawing. for Black
cotton soil , place sand of minimum 150 mm depth and for
Hard soil if undulation is there then placed PCC M10 grade
Minimum thickness 75 mm to 100 mm.
Step2: Place Post in Dig/trench with in plumb and as per
Layout. try to keep Top level of post is same and care about
centre to centre distance of Post and pour the concrete Min.
M15 Grade as per designed depth . Post may be supported
by temporary support.

Step3: Once the post is firmly placed, Put Fence panel in groove
of concrete post. Keep the bottom edge of the panels to a
minimum of 50 mm from finished ground and in this gape
concrete is filled / may be left open as per need . Ifthe gape is
unavoidable, coat at least 100 mm of panels from the ground
with 2 layers of specialized paint or waterproofing compound.

Step4: Now place the Thin bed mortar on top surface of


panel and placed next panel .check the level by sprit level .

Step5: Once the panels are fixed, final finishing coat may be
applied by byOriplastself curing compound for plain panel.
fordesigner panel , if damages occurs it may be repaired by
Oriplast / PMC compound .

Step6: for designer wall, a cap may be installed at top of


post By PMC adhesive or Steel screw.
