Designation: Storage Administrator
Working as a Storage administrator for one of the largest retailer of US.
Day to day provisioning of storage (Storage device selection/creation, Zoning, LUN Masking).
Managed, and deployed LUNS from HP-3PAR storage frames to servers using Tools like 3PAR
management console and NAS shares from Netapp FAS and Oracle ZFS storage.
Hands on Experience in working with Mixed Environments high end storage systems such as
HP 3par, Hitachi VSP, Netapp FAS, Oracle ZFS and EMC Clariion.
Performs necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with HP-3PAR and other
storage products in accordance to the change management policies.
Experience in NetApp Filers quota Management, CIFS shares, NFS exports.
Hands on Experience with NetApp FAS series.

Working on multi-terabyte Migration of NAS environment (Netapp) to Oracle ZFS storage
cluster for Prod, Non-Prod, and DR environment.
Created CPG(Common Provisioning group) with RAID5 (3D+1P), RAID 1, RAID 6 (6D +2P) and
RAID 5 (5D+1P).
Defined AO(Adaptive optimization) for the PROD servers having SSD RAID 5 (3D +1P) and FC
RAID 1.
Work on the Dynamic optimization only in case of some issue when VV performance get
degraded or not perform well on the existing CPG.
 Plan and implement DR solution over multiple sites for HP-3PAR SAN and shadow copy for
Oracle ZFS.
Configured anonymous File Sharing on Oracle ZFS to connect clients to the cluster via
SMB/NFS for Windows and UNIX operating environment using Oracle ZFS console and Cli.
Configuring data storage in NetApp FAS series filers that run Data ONTAP 7G using CLI and
Filer View.
Configurations including vfiler, Flex Volumes, qtrees, aggregates and snapshots. Expand
volumes.
Worked on migration project Sanity refresh using HP-Peer motion tool that involved moving
data from HP-EVA 2000/3000 and HP-3par T400 to HP-10800 or V800.
Provisioning used tool IMC (inform Management Console) 4.4.2.5 and CLI 3.1.2.
Setup replication of data for the disaster recovery using HP-3par Remote copy between T800,
T400, V400 and V800.
Created CPG (Common Provisioning group) with RAID5 (3D+1P), RAID 1, RAID 6 (6D +2P)
and RAID 5 (5D+1P)
Used Mirrorview for remote replication on EMC Clariion CX frames.
Configured Brocade Director Switches, using WWN zoning to create aliases and zones. Created
and maintained ISL Trunking, zoning, performed firmware upgrades, and integrated all SAN connected
hosts.
Document, Troubleshooting, performance analysis, and issue escalation with vendors.
