2 Key Features
Radio Trace (GSM, WCDMA, LTE, CDMA, WiFi) and Layer 3 decoding
The technology monitors (GSM, WCDMA, LTE, CDMA) change automatically when the network technology
changes. With a long click on the tab header of the technology monitors (channel, data, cell and coverage)
the display technology could be set manual. The WiFi monitor is displayed only by an active WiFi interface.
The layer 3 trace monitor is a list monitor that displays the header information of layer 3 messages. You can
disable protocol or message group items in the monitor settings. QualiPoc writes the layer 3 information to
the MF independent of the filter settings. The messages could be fully decoded and displayed in a pop-up
window. For closing the pop-up just double-click on the pop-up or press the back button.
UI Customization
You can configure the workspace, create custom monitors (values, charts, mixed) and configure predefined
monitors. With a long click also the title bar and the info banner could be configured.
Job Scheduling
When you create a job schedule, the next job in the queue is displayed at the top of the screen. You can
view a list of the jobs in the schedule on the notifications screen.
OTA Update
With the Over The Air update the QualiPoc application can be
updated to a new version without connecting the device to a
computer.
Replay
Touch the Replay icon on the result page to playback a measurement file. In Replay mode you have the
following options:
Last session (toolbar)
Next session (toolbar)
Pause/Play (toolbar)
Step or fast forward (toolbar)
Session selection (toolbar)
Select new MF (menu)
Improvements
Rework Map Monitor
o Supporting features of Google Maps Android API 2 such as 3D, indoor, satellite, terrain and
hybrid maps.
o Supporting a lot of different tile providers; by default Google Maps (Normal + Hybrid), Bing
Maps (Road + Hybrid) and Open Street Map are enabled / selectable. Add your own tile
provider in case it is not yet preconfigured.
o Clean up Map and BTS settings (access direct over map monitor toolbar)
o New map monitor toolbar (zoom, speed, altitude, refresh, accuracy, rotation, settings)
o Added tile cache manager to download tiles for using in offline mode. Switch between tile
caches and shared the downloaded tiles over the QualiPoc settings export/import.
o The new map monitor needs Google Play Service 3.2.25. In case the actual installed service
does not match, the application asks for downloading the update package. As alternative the
update could also be downloaded manually over Google Play.
Features
MF tagging (rename MF and rework result page)
o Ability to change parts of the measurement file name.
YYYY-MM-DD-HH-mm-ss-TTTT-CCCC-CCCC-DDDD.MF
UI component rework
o To make the QualiPoc easier to use the file picker and the UI of the monitor customization
was reworked.
Improvements
Remote Controlled: Avoid Poll (FTP) traffic within a running job
Remote Controlled: Unit Feedback communication (alerts, result summaries)
QP Freerider: slave restart / power off from Freerider Master

Improved Indoor testing [also 13.0.1.28]
Known Limitations
Remote Controlled: Communication to a HTTP/HTTPS server and communication over WLAN are
not supported.
By playing videos on Android 4.0.4 devices the frame around the video overlaps with the title bar.
In case of enabled Android Settings Do not keep activities under Settings/Developer
Options/Apps the QualiPoc application exits as soon as the QualiPoc settings are opened.
During call tests on Samsung Exynos based devices (GT-I9305, GT-N7105, ) no system
sounds where played
Some IP packet loss may occur @ throughputs > 50Mbps when PCAP file and ROMES logging are
enabled. The packet loss heavily depends on the current CPU load as well as on the temperature.
YouTube testing does not work with newest YouTube version (>= 5.0)
Map monitor on Samsung Galaxy SII has the following limitations:
- Overflow icon is almost not visible in landscape mode
- Zoom level for cached area cannot be changed (only Bing Map/Road provider)
