cinnamon. Allspice is especially good in holiday desserts like gingerbread, spice

A blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice makes apple pie spice very versatile.
I use it in pancakes as well as a topping for my pecan waffles; in spice cakes, pies,
and cookies. I put a little in my filling for raisin-filled cookies and with brown

Powder (#1106). I experimented with it and found that I liked it best
when baking with it. I add the powder dry in most recipes and increase
the liquid a bit. I made some buttery baking powder biscuits with it,
but I did not use it dry. I made the butter up to see if I could cut it into
the flour. It took 1 cup butter powder to ½ cup water to get the texture
I wanted and I chilled it first. The finished product was just like the
biscuits I have made before. Some theater popcorn seasonings have
butter powder in them. Use it alone or combine whatever spices you
want—sugar, chocolate, AP Garlic Powder (#1021), Rainy Day Foods
Cheese Blend Powder (#1107) or AP Onion Powder (#1027) and make

White Sheet Cake
1 box white cake mix (or AP Crème Cake #1823) ⅓ cup vegetable oil
1 c Sour Cream Powder (#3818) 4 large egg whites
⅞ cup water ½ c flour
1 3.4 oz box White Chocolate instant pudding 1 tsp almond extract
Blend ingredients in a large bowl on low speed until moistened. Beat at
medium speed for 2 minutes. Add almond extract to batter and stir until
blended. Batter will be thick. Bake at 350 in a greased and floured 13x18”
pan for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes clean. Ice cooled cake with
butter cream frosting.
