Textbook policy
Each subject guide references an essential textbook that will complement the reading in the guide.
Students should make their own arrangements in the purchase of the relevant textbook. For
guidance on purchasing textbooks online please refer to the following link

http://www.londoninternational.ac.uk/booksonline

This year some of our textbooks are available to download as an E-book. The weblinks are listed
below under the relevant book details. Further information will be provided on the VLE via the
module page.

Definitions

Essential reading means you must have access to these texts to complete the course successfully;
either by buying your own copy or by accessing a copy in a library.

Further reading texts will enhance your understanding of the subject. You may wish to buy some of
these, or access them in a library.

Casebooks are recommended to support your case law knowledge in a subject.

Statute books are often provided with your materials from the University. They are a useful aid and
can sometimes be taken into the examination, subject to the Programme regulations. We will only
supply the statute books where students require these for the examinations. For guidance on what
you can take into the exam room please refer to the Module Descriptor available on the VLE.

It is recommended that you buy the most recent edition of a text. Sometimes a new edition is
published after the production of the booklist and subject guides. You will be able to use the
section headings and the index to find the relevant readings in the new edition.
