Due to space restrictions in Cannibal Sector 1 the

Mutant Rat did not make it into the final book but
here is write up from James Desborough in case you
want to add one to your game.

Mutant rats
Rats will eat anything and Cannibal Sector rats dine on
a greater diet of mutagenic and chemical substances
than any other rat on Mort. Little wonder that these
rats often become mutated, twisted by their diet and
their environment into mockeries.
No two Mutant rats are alike and they are rarely
capable of breeding. Most of them are solitary and do
not dwell with other rats. All of them are hardy and
their behaviour is unpredictable and erratic. Some
might develop greater intelligence, some might grow
even larger, walk on their hind legs or even use
weapons. It was claimed by an Ebon once that a
mutant rat tried to communicate with him through
the Ebb before he blasted it.
The disturbing part, for those who pay attention to
such things, is that rats are chosen for medical
experiments because of many similarities they have in
reaction and physiology to humans. If that is the case Skills:
then some wonder exactly what effect these little Climb: 4
sojourns into the Cannibal Sector are having on them. Detect: 1(3 with animal senses)
