battlespace. The TacNet weapon data link from Rockwell Collins gives
you in-flight, network-centric communications for precision guided
weapons a crucial link in the kill chain.

Weighing less than five pounds and at less than 100 cubic inches, TacNet
provides you with in-flight target updates, retargeting, weapons
handover coordination, bomb impact assessment and increased ad hoc
situational awareness using the Link 16 network. So whether youre in
the air or on the ground, you can more eectively and eciently engage
fixed and moving targets. The system includes the Type-1 NSA certified
Janus cryptographic engine and electromagnetic compatibility features,
which permit TacNet operations on classified networks and in
operational or training environments.
