Job had many animals like oxen, donkeys, sheep, and
camels

7 sons, 3 daughters, a wife, great property

one of Gods best servants because he was obedient to

God and avoided evil

role in salvation is suffering because he suffered so much

when Satan was messing with him

(Job 1)
The Story of
Job
Satan takes Jobs Property and children(Job 1:13-22)

-Job still praises God

Satan Attacks Jobs health(Job 2: 2-10)

-Satan covers him in boils but he still respects God

Job Laments his Birth( Job 3: 1- 26)

-After days of suffering he finally explodes.

Biblical
Exegesis:
Literal: Satan tries to prove to God that the second he would be to put his hands on Job and all he had, Job
would curse him out. He kills his animals and seven sons and destroys his property. Job doesnt react like
Satan expected him to so he covers Job in sores.

Spiritual:
Allegorical:Everybody has their own kind of temptations. In this story God knows Job is strong enough to
go against Satans temptations. We are always being put to the test in our own lives. Jesus was even put to
the test many times before becoming our savior and dying for us.

Moral: There are many people going through things and many temptations around us. Through all the bad
things its always good to remember that God gives us only what we can take, just like he did with Job.

Analogical: The story of Job relates to our reward in heaven later. Since we all go through horrible things,
the ones who go through it without giving up, will be rewarded with peace, and fairness.
Fake You Out By Twenty One Pilots

Fake You Out is about someone

being down in the dumps.

They need help from someone

who says is there, but they
dont feel it.

By Fake You Out, it means

Overall...
Job is a good example of someone who suddenly feels alone, unhappy
and unlucky, something Fake You Out is very much about.

Jobs story also teaches us that we might not always feel Gods
presence but He is there. He really isnt twice as far....
