QUICK-DISCONNECT BONNET
Camerons unique bonnet and actuator Quick-
Disconnect (U.S. Patent No. 4,135,547) design totally
isolates the actuator from the bonnet without
compromising safety.
Since the bonnet and the actuator are two distinct
products, it is possible to remove the actuator from the
bonnet without depressurizing or isolating the valve.
A substitute actuator may be installed on the bonnet
while the original actuator is being serviced; or, a larger
or smaller actuator may be installed to accommodate a
change in production pressures. It is even possible to
substitute a hydraulic actuator for a pneumatic actuator
providing the adequate control pressure is available.
Because of their individual, completely self-

WIRE-CUTTING ACTUATORS
A WireMaster or CSWC Wire-Cutting Actuator can be
mounted to the upper master valve of this wellhead to
ensure safety during wireline operations. The spring of
the actuator is sufficient to cut logging cable and stain-

The E actuator is offered in two variations. One
variation has a two-piece housing. This design may be

The second variation utilizes a one-piece housing.
This design may be used in the event side-mounted
limit switches are desired in lieu of top mounted switch-

order to install other accessories, such as mechanical
openers or lock out caps.
The E is available in standard and H2S-CO2 service
with temperature ranges from -20F (29C) to 250F
(121C). Optional side-mount magnetic limit switches
are available to provide valve position indication to
a remote control station. A model for arctic service
is available.

Hydraulic Actuators
Model DAH Hydraulic Actuator
PRODUCT FAMILY NO. 7B-88597
DESCRIPTION
The double acting hydraulic actuator (DAH) is used for
abrasive service where total control is an absolute
necessity. The DAH supplies the force required to open
or close critical gate valves under the most severe oper-
ating conditions. Examples of applications where the
DAH actuator are used include BOP stack choke valves
and mud manifolds. The DAH actuator is also an alter-
native to manually operated gate valves where high
valve torques exist or where personnel are not wanted
in a close proximity to the valve.
The DAH actuator is powered by hydraulic pressure
from an external source. The actuator is double acting
and pressure must be applied to either the upper or
lower chambers to produce corresponding downward
or upward motion. The DAH is available with 5 in.
(127 mm) and 7 in. (178 mm) pistons and for valve sizes
of 2 in. (51 mm) through 7 in. (178 mm). Standard

Pneumatic Actuators
PneuMaster Pneumatic Actuator
PRODUCT FAMILY NOS. 7B-88651
DESCRIPTION
The PneuMaster Pneumatic Actuator is a diaphragm
type actuator that complements Camerons field-proven
pneumatic actuators. It delivers reliable fail-safe
performance returning the gate valve to the closed
position. This actuator can be mounted on either the
upper master or wing valve and may be operated by
clean well gas or an air supplied well panel.
Designed and built to the industrys highest
standards, the PneuMaster delivers simplicity, low
weight, durability, and ease of maintenance. Because
the PneuMaster Actuator is lighter than standard
piston-type actuators, it is suited for tension leg
platforms and other weight-sensitive applications.

Pneumatic Actuators
Pneumatic Piston-Type Actuator
PRODUCT FAMILY NO. 7B-88506,
7B-88507, 7B-88509 AND 7B-88594
DESCRIPTION
The Piston-Type Pneumatic Actuator is used in air
operated systems and is typically mounted to the upper
master and wing valve for sequenced closure during
shut-down operations. The actuator supplies a down-
ward force upon application of pneumatic pressure
from an external source to open the gate valve. When
control pressure is relieved, pressure in the valve body,
aided by a compression spring in the actuator, returns
the piston to its normal position. The loss of control
pressure causes the actuator to act as a fail-safe closed
device when adapted to reverse acting gate valves.
The Pneumatic Piston-Type Actuator operates valve
sizes 1-13/16 in. (46 mm) through 16 in. (406 mm).
The actuator piston is offered from 8 in.- 20 in. Pneumatic Piston-Type Actuator

Sensing Line Blowout Preventer
PRODUCT FAMILY NO. 7B-88519
The patented Sensing Line Blowout Preventer (SLBP) is
mounted between a flowline and a line sensing device
(usually a pilot or relay) and reacts to the volume
velocity relationship of the fluids in the sensing line.
When the velocity component exceeds a predetermined
rate, the SLBP shuts in, preventing a possible sensing
line blowout.

DESCRIPTION
An essential fire safety appliance, Camerons high-thrust

its open position. In the event of fire, a fusible link in No. 7B-88537
the lock-open device melts, permitting a segmented
lock to disengage from the collar, thus effectively
releasing the shaft of a fail-safe actuator and permit-
ting it to move upward through the segmented lock.
This action closes the reverse acting surface safety valve
and shuts in the well.
As an added feature, this lock-open device may
be ordered with a hydraulic override shear release
mechanism. This feature allows the lock-open device
to be tripped, allowing the actuator to close the surface
safety valve, by applying hydraulic pressure to the shear
release body. The hydraulic override allows the actuator
to be quickly closed in low temperature emergency
situations with the HSLOD device in place. Heat Sensitive

Hydraulic High or Low Pilots
PRODUCT FAMILY NO. 7B-87755
DESCRIPTION
Hydraulic High or Low Pilots for high system pressures
are hydraulic power controllers which monitor flowline
pressure conditions. The pilots will automatically block
and bleed from 75 psi (5 bar) - 5,500 psi (379 bar)
control pressure when preset line pressure limits are
violated. The unique pressure handling capability of the
high pressure exhaust pilot permits direct monitoring
and control of high pressure fluids.
This allows the high pressure control system to
reduce in size and complexity. Since use of this type
pilot can eliminate the need for field gas supply, sepa-
rators and scrubbers, pressure regulators and pneumatic
pilots, it is possible to operate an entire safety system
using unregulated flowline fluids of 5,500 psi (379 bar)
and below.
The high pressure exhaust type pilot is ideal for line
break systems application where supervision is minimal
or external power sources are not available. This type
of pilot is capable of being tripped by a fusible plug,
which indicates fire safe applications. The High Pressure
Exhaust Type Pilot, (Product Family No. 7B-87755) must
be used in conjunction with a velocity check valve. This
allows the system to be charged up and on line as soon
as the well is ready for test or production. The Exhaust
Type Pilot, (Product Family No. 7B-87755) is field con-
vertible from high to low or vice versa.

FLOW CONTROL

Model BPR Pneumatic Relay

PRODUCT FAMILY NO. 7B-87736 AND
7B-87737
DESCRIPTION
The Model BPR is a pilot-operated, three-way, spring-re-
turn, pneumatic relay. It can be used as a normally
closed or normally open logic valve, with or without au-
tomatic reset. It is commonly used as an actuator
control valve, but may be panel mounted for other uses.
Designed to quickly exhaust control pressure
from any actuator to permit rapid emergency closure,
this normally closed pilot-operated pneumatic device
transmits 125 psi (9 bar) - 150 psi (10 bar) pressure.
A signal from the pilot causes the relay spool to shift
to the open position, thus supplying the actuator with
control pressure.
