Childrens Names and Learning/Development Goals: Commented [BC1]: Your goals and ways to work on goals
are specific and detailed!

1. Kambrys goal is to be able to work on her attention span, her speech

and to pay attention at gathering time. In dramatic play area there will
be opportunities for her to work on her speech by the help of the teachers
naming and helping her understand what things are in this area. There will
also be tasks sheets to write and check off on to work on her literacy skills.
During gathering time Kambry will be able to participate with the building
blocks, and I am hoping this will help her be more engaged and focused.
2. Charlies goal is to work on her fine motor skills, whether it is working on
puzzles or putting something together. Charlie will be able to work on her
skill at the manipulatives center where she will cut, glue, and put the
pieces on her construction worker in the way she would like.
3. Isaacs goal is to work on learning his alphabet. Isaac will be able to work
on this goal at the dramatic play area where he will be able to recognize
letters on the task sheet as well as write his name. Teachers can assist by
pointing out different letters and asking Isaac questions about those
letters.
4. Brians goal is to also work on learning the alphabet, and letter
recognition. Brian will be able to work on his goal at the dramatic play
area by recognizing letters in the task sheets and writing his name. He can
also work on this goal at the sensory area when he pulls out the laminated
pictures, the labels will be on them and teachers can help him recognize
the letters.
5. Nathans goal is to work on sharing with his peers. Nathan will be able to
work on this goal at the block area, where he will have to share the blocks
and people to build different structures.
6. Abbys goal is to work on her social skills with her peers. Abby will be able
to work on her goal at the math center where her and her peers will
measure and observe the nails and different things. This will allow the
opportunity for her to work with a peer in filling up the scales and talk
about what is in the scales, or even count together. Teachers can assist
Abby by encouraging her to tell her peers something or tell them
something about what she is doing.
