Juan Sarmiento.

Juan Sarmiento, (Born Juan Carlos sarmiento Garca, 24 April 1984) is an


Colombian engineering student, Transport logistics technologist, Technician in
logistics operations development, he has worked with The mobility secretary of
Bogot, He has participated in at least 8 transport projects in Bogota D.C, He has
had great versatility in the types of projects in which he has participated, His work
has expanded from customer service, recreation, supervision, coordination and audit
of projects, ranging from transportation, infrastructure, and the operation of school
services.

Born and raised in the Third World suburbs of downtown Bogot, He learned to
dispatch passenger transportation services when he found his first job when he left
high school, For 2006 he had been able to enter the IDRD of Bogot, and there he
had the opportunity to work as a recreationist, by 2008 he had already had two
contracts in the Mobility secretary, in 2009 he was already part of the administrative
staff of the local hospital, Professional career studies late in 2009 when he had the
opportunity to join SENA as part of the two hundred and fifty thousand plan of ex-
president Alvaro Uribe, thanks to this he was admitted as a practitioner to
Transmilenio SA, this was derived in the beginning of an extensive career in The

industrial engineer, training that in 2017 is nearing completion.
Biography.

Early years 1984-2003.

He grew up in two suburbs of the center of bogota colombia, from 1984 to 1998 in
the neiborhood belen centro, where he lived in humble conditions with his parents
and siblings, he studied the elementary schools in the district concentration

grade, and seventh in 1999 respectively, at the end of 1999 he moves To the

in 2000, in 2001 he returned to the top of santa barbara center and to the school la
concordia, where he graduated at the end of 2003 as a bachelor.

First stage of work 2004 - 2011.

In December 2004, after eleven months of looking for work, and to go through absurd
jobs he had the opportunity to work as a citizen advisor in the transmilenio transport
system, position in which he would be until September 2005, after that, he would find
work Again until August 2006 at the IDRD in Bogot, a position he would hold until
December of that year, for 2007 he would go to the Mobility Secretary of Bogota in

until April 2008, in May 2009 was hired by the central hospital of Bogota as invoicer.
Being there he had the idea to return to SENA for a technical career, getting in at
the end of August 2009, which gave him the opportunity to present himself to occupy
a position as a practitioner in March 2010, finished his practice satisfactorily and
obtained His title as a logistics technician in January 2011, in that year he had
several minor jobs, in November 2011 he entered the Christian church and there he
learned new precepts of life, he accepted to work as a charge of the recycling
program of a hospital for children ending up 2011

In 2012 he is given the opportunity to continue his training at SENA as a technician,


Transmilenio hired him again as a security auditor until April 2012, in June 2012 he
entered as an operations assistant to a well-known international cargo company
called Aldia logistica, A position in which he remained until November 2013 as a
practitioner, at the same time obtaining his degree as a technology in transportation
logistics.
Second stage of work 2012-2014
In December 2013 and after a competition process against 3000 applicants wins a
public competition as Coordinator in transmilenio S.A to belong to the personnel
plant, this being one of its greatest achievements, a position in which it would remain
until May 2014.

Third stage of employment 2014-2016.


In July 2014, opted for work positions as an interventor, and decides to migrate to
the public transport system as field inspector, and he would remain there until March
2015, While this, would initiate the seventh semester of industrial engineering in the
university Politecnico Grancolombiano after which he would have several positions,
as a fleet controller of the SITP, and also As coordinator of traffic studies for civil
works, in September of 2015 he returns to the SITP auditorium as field inspector, in
November of that year he is promoted to controller of control centers of the SITP, a
position that would remain until May 2016 to close this stage, And also while this
happened the studied the specialization technology in management of human talent.

Fourth labor stage 2016 - present.


He decides to retire from operations based on the type of transmilenio S.A and is
linked to the education secretary of Bogot as supervisor of school routes in August
2016, at the same time beginning the eighth semester of industrial engineering.
