A problem of Colombian agriculture.

Colombia entered a process of economic opening. As a result, small agricultural

producers compete with foreign producers who have a high level of technological
development. Then agriculture has lost prominence in the Colombias economic
development and as a result have aggravated some social problems of the
countryside. It can be concluded that Colombia's agrarian policy must protect and
strengthen the production and market of domestic agricultural products.
