Group Games: Charade
Split the class into two groups. Each player would take turns to draw a
sentence or phrase from a small bag. The teams will be given a clue of what
figure of speech is trying to act out by their actor. After that, they would act out
what they had and the team members would guess the sentence or phrase. The
actor has a limited time (1-2minutes) to act out the sentence or phrase to his own
team. The first team to guess the sentence or phrase gets a point. The one with
the most points at the end of the game wins.
