 Bonds Between Us Summary
The Bonds Between Us was a collection that taught
the importance to have bonds with others. Bonds are
important so that the human society can have a
connection with others. Without bonds individuals
wouldnt have friends or family to communicate with.
People can bond with a team, club or sometime
group, bonds can be made by a simple hi and be
made with anyone even if they are different.
I don't miss the bureaucracy of
being in the Army. But I still love
the relationships you can build.
And it doesn't have to be in
military service - it can be
anything you're doing with
someone that matters. You
develop a bond.

 When Mr. Pirzada Came
to Dine
In the middle of the short story, When Mr. Pirzada
Came to Dine by Jhumpa she shows how society is
kind to others by saying, And so he came to our house
to eat dinner and watch the evening news(Lahiri 104).
This explains that Mr. Pirzada does not have enough to
have dinner each night, so he gets help from others in
the community. This matters because the bond later
becomes stronger between Mr. Pirzada and the family.
As a result readers can think that if you are nice to
others then they will be nice to you in return.
 And of Clay Are We Created
The The author states when the girl is stuck in the mud that he
cares by saying, ...to assure her that he was still there and to
overcome the menace of uncertainty (Allende 44). The author
means that the reporter will always be there with her in spirit,
even though he is not there physically. This matters because he
will never give up on the girl and keep pushing to get her out. In
conclusion readers can assume that having others there with you
through hard times can help you through what you are going
through.
 Monkey See, Monkey Do, Monkey COnnect
In the nonfiction article, Monkey See, Monkey Do, Monkey
Connect, by Frans De Waal, he explains his thoughts and
experiences with human epidemics. This showed when he
describes the bond between species and humans, Instead of
being Robinson Crusoe sitting separate islands, were all
interconnected, both bodily and emotionally(De Waal 3). This
means that we are all connected through our mind. This quote
matters because it shows that people are interconnected
together. In conclusion, all the people you surround yourself
with influence who you are as a person.
 With Friends Like These... by Dorothy Rowe

The nonfictional article, With Friends Like These by

Dorothy Rowe, is about how important it is to have
balanced friendships in one's life. A balanced friendship is
a relationship with two people who trust, care and support
each other equally. In the text, Rowe states, yet we need
other people to tell us when we have got our guesses
right, and, when we get things wrong, to help us make
more accurate assessments(Rowe 142). This means that in
order to get through hard times, you need to have friends
to help you. This shows that no matter how hard
something is, with friends you can get through it. Having
friends is important for your happiness and emotion
stability.
 At Dusk
The poem At Dusk by Natasha Trethewey the author
expelled the feeling of security and shows the bonds
between the neighbors and cat. This is shown when
Left me to wonder that if I too might lift my
voice(Tretheway 25). This means that the neighbors are
willing to help each other even though they dont have
to or werent asked to. This matters because people can
have bonds and not be friends that talk everyday. The
conclusion we have come up with is that bonds are
smart to have to be able to have so that you're not
alone.

Conflict#1
Only one modern nation state has been divided nearly 68 years,
suffered over four decades of harsh foreign occupation, and relies
not on a peace treaty but a 60-year-old truce. That country is
Korea tragedy by any standard in todays world(Barry). One
conflict in the world is in North Korea. A reason why North Korea is
a conflict is because they threaten other countries saying that
they are going to bomb them. Although other countries know that
they do not have the resources to do what they say, it is still
frightening to some. In the article, on www.cfr.org the author
states, North Koreas government has continued its aggressive
and erratic behavior, as demonstrated by recent military and
cyber provocations, and continued efforts to develop nuclear
weapons and long range missiles. In addition to harming its own
citizens, the countrys actions threaten the entire Korean
peninsula (North Korea Crisis). This means that North Korea is
trying so hard to develop weapons to bomb other countries, they
will put their people in danger.
Solution #1
One solution for this problem is a
peace treaty. In the article, Peace
Treaty: The Only Solution to the
Korean Problem, Barry States, A
Korean peace treaty is a vital
necessity, and the joint responsibility
of the two Koreas and four major
powers. It is the only comprehensive
solution, which can deal with all
outstanding political and security
issues as part of its settlement(Barry).
This means that there are not many
solutions to this problem. The only
way that people can really stop North
Korea, and make sure other countries
are safe, is a peace treaty.

Another conflict is the Political Crisis in Burundi, this The article states Challenges to President
