Simple Sentences
STEP 1: Identify then categorise the words into their respective classes.

Ali sing father slow happily beautiful lovingly bought

NOUNS VERBS ADJECTIVES ADVERBS

STEP 2: Place the words in appropriate boxes.

NOTES: 1. Expand PREDICATE by answering WH-questions when, where, why, who, what, why and
how.

STEP 3: Make sure subject-verb agreement is correct.

NOTES: 1. Singular subject has only one doer (noun) / without s. It must be followed by singular verb
that has s.
2. Plural subject has more than one doer (noun+noun) / with s. It must be followed by plural
verb without s.
