Dear Steve,
I would like to thank you for introducing me to the Lanotec range of products. Since our trials commenced in
July 2004 we have experienced a massive reduction in plant failure and downtime.
Im writing to you to let you know the main areas were we have experienced great success over what we were
previously using. As our work environment and the carrot industry in general are surrounded by water, chlorine
and organic waste residue, it can be an extremely demanding and corrosive environment to all types of
machinery.
*Greasing of all bearings with Lanotec Type A food grade grease.
I believe that since we have started using this product we have only had 3 bearings requiring replacement in our
WYMA brush washers since July 2004. After speaking to Andrew from WYMA in New Zealand he was
amazed to hear that we only grease our brush washers once a week. It was of Andrewss opinion that we should
have already replaced a full set of bearings (56) as they are only rated for 12 months maximum. I am happy to
put it down to the use of your grease as nothing else has been changed in our service routine. I was also very
happy with the substantial saving on the purchase price of your grease compared to your competition.
*Lubrication of all chains with Lanotec Heavy Duty Liquid Lanolin.
After the success of the grease I have used the HD Liquid Lanolin to similar effects. We have not experienced
any chain failures and it seems this product does not allow any moisture into the pins were previously I have
seen failure in a highly corrosive environments was also very happy with its penetrating ability and the fact that
it is non flinging.
*Protection of all electrical equipment and connectors with Lanotec General Purpose Liquid
Lanolin
We have also used the Lanotec General Purpose Liquid Lanolin to protect our extremely expensive electrical
equipment and automated robot packing system. Here at Aismik we pride our selfs on having state of the art
electronics and utilize a lot of new technology , like our touch screen control system and as the plant is fully
automated any electrical failure can cause the whole plant to shut down. We have not encountered any problems
and are glad we can protect our valuable electronics with your easy too apply product.
*General plant cleaning using Lanotec Citra Force.
Another success story has been the use of Lanotec Citra Force. This one product has replaced just about every
cleaning agent that we were previously using and has also replaced our contact and electrical cleaners. We use it
in a variety of places such as , main electrical control panel , all switches and circuitry , stainless steel plant
structures ( i.e. handrails , catwalks and main structure), pvc piping , brush washer (external). Another area we
were really impressed was with the NewTec automatic weighing machine, this suffers from carrot stain build-up
on the Perspex viewing panels and this product removes it easily and efficiently which was previously a
problem. All staff are very appreciative of its pleasant citrus odour and many have in fact purchased some and
use it in there home.

I would highly recommend the Lanotec range of products to anyone in the food industry as I believe all would
discover the same fantastic results that Aismik has since using them.
