Approved for anchorings in:

Concrete 2.500 psi to 8.000 psi, cracked and non-cracked
Option 1 for cracked concrete

ADVANTAGES

Thanks to its high bond strength, FISEM achieves a very

high load level for safe use in cracked and non-cracked
concrete.
FISEM is also suitable for diamond-drilled drill holes, thus
allowing for greater flexibility on the construction site.
The low mortar shrinkage allows for a maximum FIS EM
applied load, including in the case of large threaded rod
diameters.
The pure epoxy resin can also be used underwater, thus
allowing for use in extreme conditions.
The high approved temperature resistance of -40F
to +162F allows for a stable load level, even when
subjected to increased temperature demands.
FISEM has extended open times and is therefore
particularly suitable for series installation and rebar
connections.

FUNCTIONING

FIS EM is a 2-component injection system based on

epoxy resin.
Resin and hardener are stored in two separate chambers
and are not mixed and activated until extrusion through
the static mixer.
The professional injection cartridges are quick and easy to
use with the fischer dispensers.
Partially used cartridges can be reused, simply by chang-
ing the static mixer.

Strength reduction factor and load conversion factor = 1.48 (30% D and 70% L) are included. Strength reduction factor depends on the failure mode of the anchor.

The above times apply from the moment of contact between resin and hardener in the static mixer.
For installation, the cartridge temperature must be at least 41 F and max. 77 F. For longer installation times, i.e. when interruptions occur in work, the mixer should be replaced.
