Nominating Committees Choose Slates for 2011 Leadership

The Nominating Committees of the Greater Springfield Board of REALTORS ® and Multilist Service have selected
proposed candidates for the 2011 Officers and Directors.
The bylaws of both corporations allow for additional candidates by petition (available at Board office). The Board
petition must be signed by at least 10% of the REALTOR® members eligible to vote and the MLS petition must be signed by
10% of the participants (brokers). Both must state the position the candidate is seeking and must be filed with the CEO by
August 30, no later than 5:00 p.m.
If there are no nominations by petition, the officer in charge shall cast a unanimous ballot for the slate as selected by the
Nominating Committee and declare the slate nominated. The election, if needed, will be held on September TBD at the
board office, between the hours of 9:00 am-3:00 pm.
