MIN.1/05/2015: PRELIMINARIES

The meeting was called to order at 4.40 p.m.by Mr. Nickson Kiptiony.

MIN.2/05/2015: OPENING PRAYER

The opening prayer was led by Mary Koskei.

MIN.4/05/2015: COMMUNICATION FROM THE FINANCE MANAGER

 The Finance Manager, Mr. Nickson Kiptiony started off by welcoming all the staff who
had attended the meeting.
He mentioned to the members that the Principal had proposed that there was need for the
non-teaching staff to have their welfare just like the teachers.
He also stressed that the welfare should not only be for assisting when members
encounter problems but also to empower them.
He said that there should be a constitution that states which/how the affairs of the welfare
were to be run.

MIN. 5/05/ 2015: ELECTION OF OFFICIALS

The elections were conducted and the following members were elected for the posts of
Chairman, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.

Chairman - Ambrose Fwambah

Vice Chair - Alice Naserian
Secretary - Jacob Toroitich
Vice Secretary- Naomi biwott
Treasurer - Jonah Sungunya

Members congratulated them for their appointments.

Departmental representatives were also chosen to assist in communication and coordination

of activities for the welfare.

The following were the members chosen.

Monica Muthoni - Canteen

Shadrack Langat - Farm
Stephen Wendot - Kiplombe
Beatrice Cherutich - Pharmacy
Isaac Cheburet - Security
Wesley Kibet - Tailoring
Naomi Biwott - Administration

MIN.6/05/2015: ANY OTHER BUSINESS

Members to read the constitution and get back to the Chairman through their H.O.Ds by
15th May 2015 in case of any suggestions.
The group to open an account with Trans National Bank.

There being no other business, the meeting was adjourned at 5.45 p.m.
