BPR40 Mag One Product Update

New Factory “Out-of-the-Box Programming” Frequency Configuration

As of July 2010 the factory pre-programmed frequencies on the BPR 40 Mag One radios have been
updated to better align with other radios in the portfolio and future Narrowbanding regulations.

Today, BPR 40 radios ship from the factory with multiple pre-programmed frequencies within the unit;
all set at 25 kHz Channel Bandwidth and Low output power. Going forward, the factory default
configuration will change to the following:

VHF Models

Channel Rx & TxFrequency Rx & Tx PL Code CH Spacing Power Output

1 151.6250 103.5 12.5 kHz Low
2 to 8
Not Programmed
2 to 16

UHF Models

Channel Rx & TxFrequency Rx & Tx PL Code CH Spacing Power Output

1 464.5000 103.5 12.5 kHz Low
2 to 8
Not Programmed
2 to 16

This default setting is intended to provide the means to perform a quick functional check of the unit. It
is the responsibility of the end user to ensure that the unit is programmed with the correct frequencies
per FCC license prior to deployment.

This change only affects the factory default (out-of-the-box

programming) configuration as stated above, and does not otherwise
affect or impact other radio capabilities and settings accessible via the
Customer Programming Software. Radios with build date 0282 or later
as specified on the radio label on the right, are factory programmed
with this new codeplug.
