The fraternity Alpha Gamma Rho apologizes for a year-end costume photograph that caused discomfort. Some costumes appropriated cultural and ethnic identities in an unacceptable way. While this was not intended, they understand the negative impact on students and the community. They will ensure future traditions do not appropriate other cultures and will work with the university to provide education around social justice, diversity, and inclusion.
