Naomi Edwards: For over a decade, Naomi Edwards has had

an exciting career in science, which was first discovered on a
high-school biology trip to Curruwinya National Park in south-
west Queensland. Back then she was a Keebra Park SHS
student, and it was on this trip when she was inspired her to
study environmental science at Griffith University. Still
bouncing with endless energy and enthusiasm for global
change, she now finds herself traveling across Australia on
epic adventures to work with local communities to stimulate
meaningful conversations for change. Her work has been
widely acknowledged, and she was awarded the prestigious
Young Landcare Australia Champion award in 2016.
