Sub: Request for leave on loss of pay for one year reg: -

Respected sir,
I am writing this letter for your kind consideration in approving a one year
leave on loss of pay from May 19 th 2017. I apologize for the short notice given, I
wish to join for a specialist research program at Faculty of Management Studies,
University of Delhi. My wife who is working in Delhi needs a post-delivery care of six
months as per the recommendations of Gynecologist. By considering these reasons,
a regular stay for a short period of one year at Delhi may help me to plan effectively
for the Doctoral degree I aspire to secure as well.

I thank you in advance for your kind consideration on my request. I do hope

that I can continue to serve this esteemed college for a long period with higher
academic achievements.
