These days there are new innovative technologies being created rapidly, these new technologies
run on fossil fuels, but there is a limited amount of fossil fuels, so the world will eventually run out. Most
technology runs on fossil fuels directly like cars run on petrol. Technology can also run indirectly, like a
refrigerator. So with these new technologies coming out rapidly, the usage of fossil fuels also increases,
and the human population is using fossil fuels faster than they are being created. The fossil fuels reserves
left are becoming more and more depleted and finding new ones is harder, and the new ones arent as big
as the one we had before. Without fossil fuels there will be numerous problems, like many different types
of technology will no longer be usable, daily activities will be much harder to accomplish and it will
affect the economies of many countries.

Today, people still have enough fossil fuels to sustain themselves, but the scientists predict that
all the fossil fuels will be used by the year 2081. This number may change due to some variables, like the
population and usage of fossil fuels per year. If the world runs out of a fossil fuel like oil, the most used
fossil fuels currently; oil possibly be replaced with other fossil fuels like coal. There are 900 billion
tonnes of fossil fuels left("The End Of Fossil Fuels - Our Green Energy - Ecotricity"), and the human
population uses up 82.4 million barrels of oil daily. There the number 82.4 million barrels will continue to
increase with the swift escalate population of humans ("Global Fossil Fuel Consumption Surges | World
watch Institute"). The human population has increased by 7.5 times over the last 100 years(Roser &
Ortiz-Ospina, 2017). The end of fossil fuels is almost unavoidable, which is a dangerous, global problem.

Many different types of technologies will not work without fossil fuels because there will be
nothing for them to run on. There are three main categories of fossil fuels that allow technology to work,
and they are oil, natural gases and coal. Oils have many uses, 55% of oils are used as fuel for transport,
29.8 is used as heating oils and 19.4 is used in products that contain plastic and synthetic rubber. Natural
gases and coal are used mainly for electric power, which uses 35% of the natural gases and coal.
Industrial work which takes up 33%("Fossil Fuels - IER"). These are some daily task people use
technology for, so it will be almost impossible to use the technology that humanity knows today, in 100
years or so.

Daily tasks will be much harder to accomplish because there will be a lack of technological
assistance. The technology helped us complete tasks easier, since the industrial revolution in 19th century.
One of the most common types of technology used is a cellphone. It has been calculated that in the U.S
alone 95% of the population owns a cellphone which estimates at 300 million people("Mobile Fact
Sheet"). People have many advantages and benefits, like easier and faster communication, from owning a
machine the size of a human palm. Technology is taking and assisting many jobs, and the productivity
and the employment rates are more and more distanced apart every day. Its been researched that from
2011-2013 there have been over 320 thousand machines sold, to take or assist employees to complete
tasks (Rotman). So when the fossil fuels are going to run out, everything will have to be done manually
from suddenly losing all the assistance from technology.

The economy of countries around the world will be majorly affected by the lack of fossil fuels.
because some countries depend on selling fossil fuels, for example, the US and Canada made 331 billion
dollars from selling fossil fuels in 2013 alone(Makhijani). An annual budget for us is 3.18 trillion dollars
so 331 million dollars is 9.6 percent of the budget. To lose all that money would be devastating and since
the government would need to get that money, they will get it from other sources, for example increased
taxes, that will have a probability to create disasters and boycotts. Currently US has a debt of 19 trillion
dollars (Amadeo). Being in debt and losing money will be very challenging for the States to keep the
economy stable.

The loss of fossil fuels will affect the Unites stated tremendously. It will affect them a lot because
of their population and how much they use and crate technology. Today in current house holds in US on
Tung

average uses up 901 kilowatts of electricity, and to generate that electricity it takes 306 pound of coal too
generate that much electricity.
