Theme Laps, Contests, Activities & Spirit Stick

There will be an event schedule for all teams with all times listed in order sent out via email in the next few
weeks as we finish the day of event schedule. I have broken these down by category so that details could be
explained about each event.

1. Activities & Contests this year are as follows....

Kingdom For A Cure A new twist to our Womanless beauty tradition! This year we would
like you to select two people from your team to portray The King & Queen of Relay 2017! Your
King and Queen may be two men, or two woman or Man as the Queen and a woman as the
King or of course the traditional way. King as the man and Queen as the woman! Its up to you!
We want you to have fun! We will Introduce the Relay Court at opening and will be
encouraged to walk the track with a purse of some kind to collect donationsbe creative with
your costumes and purses! The King & Queen that collect the most donations will be crowned
King & Queen of Relay 2017! Then next year they will pass the crowns to the next King &
Queen! Lets have Fun with this!

Road to Recovery Race- This race will require your team to have two participants to play a
driver and a patient. There will be a set course in a straight line from one area of the center of
the track to the other. (center grass area) The race begins with your Road to Recovery driver
in your "CAR" that has been built by your team! The driver must pick up the Cancer Survivor
(so your car needs to have space for two) and together they run while in the "CAR" to the
Treatment center. The driver must drop off the Survivor and circle the building once (bldg. is
the row of chairs), return to pick up the survivor, drop them home and return to their home.
First Road driver to make it home wins the Race! Here is the catch...your car CANNOT BE
BUILT before Relay day! An announcement will be made giving the GO to Build Your Car! You
will have 30 minutes! You may bring any materials that you would like to build it with but
it CANNOT BE ASSEMBLED until 10:30pm. Please let us know by Bank Night (June 6th) if
your team will be participating in the Race! That way we have a good idea of how much room
we need on the field! (this is SUPER FUN and we know it will be a great laugh for our event)
Please Read: To win you must be in your car at all times! There is no running behind your car.
You must keep your car together when crossing the finish line. That means if your car breaks
you and your partner must carry your pieces in a car shape across the finish line. Once a
winner is declared they are the final winner.

Relay Scavenger Hunt - Back by popular demand! We will line up chairs in the field for as
many participants that would like to participate. There will be a secret list of items that will be
called out on each turn that each participant will have to "run" an retrieve before returning to a
chair in the field. They must have an item in hand before sitting down...BUT there will be less
chairs in the line-up upon everyones return...no chair to sit in when you get back? Then you
are out! Last person left wins a prize!

Step It Up for A Cure A skit dance contest! We want you guys to pick a song a create a
dance to it! Free-style more your kind of performance fine with us! Just get your team out there
a Bust Some Moves! Please let us know by Bank Night (June 6th) if you are going to
participate so that we can be sure to have your songs for the DJ to play! There will be a team
Prize for this activity!

traditional Iconic dances like the Hokey Pokey, the Macarena, Jump on it, the electric slide and so on.

win it, you need to have a banner! The banner can be home made of course! DIY's are always the
