LESSON 3b: I DONT LIKE FISH.

Goals: -To learn how to use Present Simple negative in sentences.


- To learn vocabulary about food.

1. VOCABULARY: Food
a. What food do you usually eat? What about your family? Make a list. Then tell the class.
I usually eat.. My sister always eats. My father often eats. My brother never eats

b. What foods do you like? What food dont you like? Make a list. Then tell the class.
I like.
I dont like
I like cheese, chicken, cake and fruits. I dont like beer, hotdog, hamburger and bread.

2. SIMPLE PRESENT NEGATIVE

Negative form of the verb to be. I am not in Mexico


- We use the negative form after the verb to be
Full form Short form Complete the gaps using the verb to be.

To build the negative form in present simple for other verbs you must use:
Do not = dont - We use dont with I, you, we and they.
Does not = doesnt - We use doesnt with third person singular (she, he, it)
- We use the negative form before the main verb.

3. PRACTICE. Complete the exercise using the negative forms.

4. Look at the vocabulary again. Then write affirmative and negative sentences using
adverbs of frequency and adverbs of time. Then tell the class.
