Reflection

This essay, the literary analysis essay had to be one of the essays I enjoyed writing

most. The characters story had so much emotion written in it, the reason why I felt so passionate

to write about Rodrigo is because the events that had happen to Rodrigo are constantly

happening in the real world. I have come in contact with people in my life who have gone

through certain situations Rodrigo had gone through. With that being said I find it extremely

important to find passion in what I am writing, I believe that my essays turn out better if I am

drawn to it. Therefore, I believe this essay is my best out of the three. I initially did not want to

get much about my essay because I was actually really happy about how it came out but I had to

make some changes. The first thing I decided to do before anything was read my essay a handful

of times, so I could notice any grammar mistakes I made or saw sentences that need revising.

After I went and fixed my grammar errors, spelling, adding words, phrases comas etc. In my

fourth paragraph, I had written the article name twice which made the transition sloppy, I took

out where I wrote it twice which in my opinion made it much smoother to read. In my

conclusion, I had originally talked about Perla entering Rodrigos and the difference she tried to

make in his life. I also discussed that the book gives at the boy being dead, possibly. Through my

revision I took that all out. I believe it was important to take that out because I came to realize

that it transitioned towards Perla being saint like and as my professor mention I was just

summing the ending of the boys story. I made my conclusion more focused on how Rodrigo

portrays saint like attributes.
