PARAGRAPH : TEEL STRUCTURE

Essay suggestions:
Point form main topic ideas
Plan and expand paragraphs based on TEEL model
Then write introduction pick a side if necessary, and
write 3 points/ideas/reasons found in rest of essay. Must
be able to tell what your essay is about from the intro
alone.
Then write conclusion be emotional, be future looking,
make an appeal.

Simple Example:
The cat often sits on the mat. When returning home from
school, the sun is warming the mat and the cat curls up in
the sunny spot. This is due to the fact that the rest of the
house is so cold and the cat finds the warmth of the sun
comforting. This can be seen in many homes as a form of
comfort for cats stuck indoors during the day.

Some starting ideas:

T Maslow suggests that
E For example
Expl This shows This links to This created
Link This impact can still be seen in. OR. This is clear to
see that

Now using your 3 points, write 3 TEEL paragraphs which

are the body of your essay. If it helps, write each T E E L
on a new line for your draft but not in the final draft.

Introduction Example:
State which side you have chosen

Mention the 3 topic paragraphs to support your
answer.
