Directions to Kennedy Space Center Badging Office at Gate 3

From Orlando International Airport: The Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is located approximately 45 miles east
of the Orlando International Airport. When exiting the airport, follow the signs to State Road (SR) 528 (“Beeline
Expressway”) east to the Kennedy Space Center. After approximately 25 miles, there will be a fork in the road.
Bear to the left onto SR 407. Stay on SR 407 for about 5 miles until it dead-ends into SR 405/NASA Causeway.
Turn right (east) on SR 405 and go about 2.4 miles where you will see a one-story building called “Pass and ID”
with a tall rocket close to the parking lot. This is Gate 3 where you will get your badge.

From Cocoa Beach Area: Take A1A north towards Cape Canaveral. After A1A turns into SR 528, you will pass
the Gate 1 entrance to Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (where the cruise ships
are). Do not take this exit but continue on SR 528 going west passing over the Banana River and Sykes Creek
bridges until you get to the SR 3/Merritt Island exit. Take a right onto SR 3 and after approximately 7 miles you
will see a sign that says “all visitors turn left at next light”. Turn left onto Space Commerce Way following the
signs to the Visitor Complex. This road will dead-end into SR 405. Take a left (west) onto SR 405 and go
approximately 6.5 miles to the one-story building called “Pass and ID” with a tall rocket close to the parking lot.
This is Gate 3 where you will get your badge.
Directions to Kennedy Space Center Badging Office #2 on State Road 3

From Orlando International Airport: The Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is located approximately 45 miles east
of the Orlando International Airport. When exiting the airport, take the north exit and follow the signs to State
Road (SR) 528 (“Beeline Expressway”) east to the Kennedy Space Center. After approximately 25 miles, there
will be a fork in the road. Bear to the right and stay on SR528 going towards Cape Canaveral/Cocoa/Merritt
Island. Do not bear to the left onto SR 407 even though the sign says Kennedy Space Center. Stay on SR 528
for another 12 miles. Take the SR 3 exit and take a left under the overpass. Go about 6.4 miles and you will see
the one-story building called “Central Industry Assistance Office” with a tall rocket in the far parking lot. This is
Pass and ID Station (PIDS) 2 where you will get your badge.

From Cocoa Beach Area: Take A1A north towards Cape Canaveral. After A1A turns into SR 528, you will pass
the Gate 1 entrance to Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (where the cruise ships
are). Do not take this exit but continue on SR 528 going west passing over the Banana River and Sykes Creek
