ENGAGING CONTENT
Activities
Interactive and engaging, Activities are perfect for
use by students independently and for teacher led
learning in the classroom using Whiteboard Mode.
Activities are designed around specific curriculum
objectives and are a great way to complement in-class
learning, tracking individual students progress with every
question and answer recorded.
Supporting materials include Activity Sheets and Lesson
Ideas, as well as detailed information about the Activity,
its contents and how it relates to the curriculum. At the
end of an Activity, corrections can be reviewed and
students scores are saved for the teacher to view later,
in SuccessTracker.
Learn Screens
These mini tutorials are perfect for both independent
learning and to consolidate the knowledge and
understanding of a topic. Students can use Learn
Screens to explore and interact without a right/wrong
format and without being timed.
In addition, Learn Screens can also be used as a
support for teacher led explanation of topics.
Most fall into the following categories: exploratory,
slideshow and vocabulary.
Learn Screens are often attached to an Activity,
which can promote further independent learning
and self-assessment.
Topic Tools
Providing flexibility for teachers, these powerful teacher
led tools are designed for whole class teaching; perfect
for introducing a new topic or as a lesson starter activity.
These interactive whiteboard resources can be used
to support a teacher led explanation of a topic and
through differentiated questioning, offer additional
informal assessment of a students knowledge.
Topic Tools can be setup and saved in advance
for interactive use, or printed out as Activity Sheets.
Student Tools
Create, express and explore! Student Tools are open-ended,
themed environments for students to be creative or to work
through a teacher led task. They cover areas of the curriculum
where freedom of expression and exploration are integral to
the learning goal.
PlayLive
PlayLive, the mental maths, spelling and French vocabulary
challenge. Players pitch their knowledge against others of
a similar age within a timed, competitive environment.
Designed to increase the speed and skill at mental maths,
spelling and French knowledge, students have 60 seconds
to answer as many questions as they can.

ThinkIts are a combination of short, variable tasks
that promote discussion and critical thinking skills

Test and Assess

Help assess learning with Maths and Science tests, perfect
to help identify a students strengths and weaknesses
and to practise test technique. Upon saving a score, a
personalised MyRevision Journal is automatically created,
making it easy to practise areas in need of improvement.

Replicating a test environment, the questions are then

marked, immediately showing corrections and scores
at the end.

MyRevision Journal
MyRevision is generated for students after taking a test
to help them revise and improve. Based on the student's
weakest areas, a range of Activities and Learn Screens
are pooled together.

Teachers can now sequence MyCities
by dragging and dropping content

Characters

international characters which
means they can work for both
usernames and passwords.
With this, schools can also use
international characters to edit
labels in the Edit Labels feature.
