The rear mounted installation method also
allows for effective positioning of the anchors.
This optimises the bending moment within the
panel and therefore allows a reduction in
thickness

Consider an application using Sandstone - BS8298 typically specifies a stone thickness of 75mm for this
type of stone

Substrate fixings

" SXS/SXR Facade Fixing - The first nylon frame fixing in the world
suitable for cracked concrete. Simple through installation with
recommended loads up to 2.4 kN.

" Injection Resin - Suitable for difficult substrates with small axial and
edge spacings

" FBN II and FAZ II through Bolts - Economical through installation with
high load performance in concrete. FAZ II is also suitable for cracked
concrete
Machinery
" fischer fixings offer both undercut drilling and setting machinery for installation of the FZP undercut
anchors.

" Both types of machine are available for purchase or hire to suit different project requirements.

" On site training is provided including quality control procedures for trouble free installation

Design / Approvals
" The FZP anchor for natural stone holds a European Technical Approval (ETA-
ETA
05/0266). This approval assists with static calculation to determine suitability of
rainscreen panels for project applications

" Fischer can provide assistance at project

conception to ensure sound economic designs.
This includes assistance with calculations, CAD
design overlays and material testing
