1. Drawing from literature, explain the motivation for social accounting and critically
evaluate its contribution to ethical practices and performance in business.

2. Are corporations meant to act like governments, or are they meant to act like good
citizens that are governed? Discuss with respect to Corporate Citizenship theory.

3. To what extent should employers take responsibility for the promotion of employee
welfare? Justify your answer with respect to the issue of Ethics and Human Resource
Management (HRM) practices of corporations.

4. Critically examine how companies are using "greenwashing" to promote their products.
Use suitable examples to support your answer.

5. To what extent are ethical theories of any practical use to managers? Discuss using
examples from current business practice.
