SR6 Radar Reflector

The PINTSCH ABEN radar reflector type SR6 is an passive radar

reflection device for usage on maritime buoys or beacons. Speci-
al features of this radar reflector are its 6-corner reflector (Speck-
ter-Design) with optimal reflection features. The backscatter dia-
gram is virtually
omni-directional, not only in the horizontal plane of 0-360 plane
as well
in the vertical plane of 30. Just this property is most important as
a good radar performance must be warranted regardless of the hee-
ling of the buoy at sea. The radar reflector type SR6 is available in
different sizes, which differ in diameter and height yielding different
radar cross section. It may be mounted on top between lantern and
lantern support plate or within the superstructure on a buoy.
