Gang Crane - Request
Creating Gang Crane Request
A Shipping Agent creates Gang Crane request after creating a Berth Booking.
To Create Gang Crane Request
1. From the navigation pane, select Request > Gang - Crane.

The Gang/Crane Request screen appears.

2. Enter the search criteria by selecting the lookup button next to Rotation number. Enter the
rotation number, vessel name or ETA and click search.

3. Click the select button next to the required rotation number, below request screen would be
obtained with ETA and ETD details of the rotation selected.

4. Either Gang or Crane or both requests can be created. Select Gang required and enter the Gang
usage details.

Field Description
Resource can be selected for Operations, lashing and
Resource
cleaning
Type Auto generated as gang for Gang request
Enter the number of Gangs required for each resource.
Number
Maximum limit of gangs that can be created is 6.
Click the date selector and select the start date and time
Start Date and Time for which the gang is required. Start time should be
greater than ETA and is mandatory.
Click the date selector and select the end date and time
End Date and Time
for which the gang is required. End date is optional.
Delete button is provided to delete any of the row added.
Action First row is mandatory and cannot be deleted.

Remarks Enter remarks for the Gang request

5. Maximum of 6 Gangs can be requested by selecting the Add Resource button and requesting
different resources, start and end time.

6. Select Crane required and enter the Crane usage details:

The values in the fields are as follows:

Field Description
Number Enter the number of cranes required
Click the date selector and select the start date and time
Start Date and Time for which the gang is required. Start time should be
greater than ETA
Click the date selector and select the end date and time
End Date and Time
for which the gang is required. End date is optional.
Delete button is provided to delete any of the row added.
Action
First row is mandatory and cannot be deleted.

7. Click the Submit button.

A confirmation message appears that Gang Crane requests have been created successfully. Gang
request id and Crane request id are generated.

Gang Crane Request Enquiry
Searching and Viewing Gang Crane Request

A Shipping Agent can search and view Gang Crane request after it has been created

To Search Gang/Crane request

1. From the navigation pane, select Enquiry > Gang-Crane.
The Enquire Gang/Crane Request screen appears.

2. Enter the search criteria by selecting the lookup button next to Rotation number.

3. A Pop-up will appear where you can enter specific search criteria

4. After entering a search string, click the Search button.

The Gang/Crane requests are listed based on the search criteria.

5. Click the select button next to the required rotation.

The Enquire Gang/Crane request screen appears with some of the details (date and Rotation
Number)

6. Click the show button to see the details of the Gang/Crane request.

7. Initially the request would be in Pending status.

8. Click the details button of Gang/Crane to view the details and back button to back to the Search
screen.

Amend Gang/Crane request
A Shipping Agent can edit Gang/Crane request after creating it. It is possible to edit
Gang/Crane request only before creating Fault and Delay or Vessel Operation completion.
Records with status as rejected or cancelled cannot be edited but a new request can be created.
To Edit Gang/Crane request
1. From the navigation pane, select Amend > Gang-Crane.
The Amend Gang/Crane Request screen appears.

2. Enter search criteria by selecting the lookup button next to Rotation number.
3. Select the required rotation from the search screen. Gang/Crane details appear. Click on the edit
button for Gang or Crane. Amend Gang/Crane Request screen appears.

4. Amend the required fields and click submit button.

5. Confirmation message for successful amendment would be displayed.

Deleting Gang/Crane request

To Delete Gang/Crane request

Shipping Agent can cancel only pending records and not approved records. Rejected or
Cancelled records would not display in the cancel screen.
1. From the navigation pane, select Cancel > Gang/Crane.
The Cancel Gang/Crane Request screen appears.

2. Click the lookup button next to rotation and enter the search criteria.

3. Click the select button next to the required rotation. Click the show button to display the details
of Gang/Crane request.

4. Click the Cancel button next to either Gang/Crane to cancel them.
Cancel Gang/Crane request screen appears. Enter the Cancel Remarks and click Cancel Request
button.

5. The Cancel confirmation dialogue box appears.

6. Click the Yes button.

The Gang/Crane request is cancelled and a confirmation message appears.
