Wiesel, Elie. Night 1st Ed, Hill and Wang; 200b , New York, NY.

Night is about a young boy named Elie Wiesel and his journey through the holocaust.

Through the whole story we see him grow into man very quickly and how courage can

carry us through the darkest of moments. We see him have to let go of his father which is

something that unimaginable, but how far can you carry someones life while worrying

about surviving yourself. Elie watched his family be separated and he faced things that

couldnt even tried to be understood. We go through the journey of several concentration

camps with Elie and we worry to know if he is going to survive.

Dr. Mengele would check to see if people were physical enough to work and would be

sent to the right or if not would be sent the left to the gas chambers. Whenever a twin

arrived Mengele would be very excited because they would be used for his experiments.

Mengele found over three thousand twins and only two hundred survived from his

grueling experiments that gave you little chance to survive. After the twins were found

they became Mengeles Children and they were treated very differently. Twins were

often able to play games like soccer they were treated better than most but still had to

suffer through these experiments. Young children did not fear Dr. Mengel because he

would often bring them candy and play with them and some of the younger twins even
